just finished "This Book Is Full Of Spiders" by David Wong

i've been in a no-reading slump lately (every so often reading just ends up being a labour of love and its more labour than love most of the times) so its' been good that i've been able to actually read a book recently hhahhaha

i'm hoping it'll remind me about reading?? like the book was ok but it sort of petered out a little at the end and i was hoping it'd explain more stuff instead of doing like books do and thinking that ambiguity is always good when in fact it sort of looks a bit lazy sometimes

but those are my only criticisms of the book? its an alright thriller zombie style book if you want an easy casual read that makes you laugh every so often i really enjoyed it
like you get the feeling that you walked in mid-conversation a lot and i haven't read John Dies At The End yet so i might be missing stuff out but yeah

^ I just read the Eyre Affair!

When I'm not distracted by work/video games, I'm reading Storm of Swords part 1 - George R. R. Martin.

Haha trust me, I know ;] Did you read his Nursery Crime Series? The Big Over Easy and The Fourth Bear are both /very/ good books.

Nah, I'm new to him as an author and I started with The Eyre Affair - I'm taking a break after Something Rotten and I'm going to read the Mortal Instruments series instead then I'm going to go back and read The First Among Sequels etc. etc. etc. :-)

nearly finished with "Poppet" by Mo Hayder, ive been trying to drag it out for as long as i can sigh.

shes one of my favourite authors, and ultimately my favourite thriller/horror/crime author.
if youre into that sort of thing i would definitely recommend anything by her... particularly Birdman (first of the jack caffery series), Pig Island or Tokyo.
wait thats p much all of them (if you include the rest of the jc series). so... go read all of them |:
