Dalek Sec! I find myself inexplicably envious.

Also, forgot to mention - I have about 8 of the Paul McGann 8th Doctor Audio plays as well. They're pretty damn good!

Dalek Sec was just weak in the first part of that two part special, but I found myself noting how well it was pulled off in the second part. Now he's one of the coolest daleks.

I like how the Doctor has become much darker; his punishments for the Family of Blood were just...cool. And I thought that they really did well in the second part of that one.

Also, where was the "fire and ice and rage," monologue used first? I can't remember, but I wondered if it was when Rose ate absorbed the Time Vortex, but can't damn remember...

Regardless, I was really worried that the kid, Timothy (woo, my name) was going to be the "other Timelord" that the face of Boe mentioned. I was getting pretty nervous, though I wonder who the other one is...?

And I look forward to Jack's return. It also sets up the best Torchwood Season Two, because they'll be going on various adventures looking for the Doctor, and he will technically be the enemy (seeing as they "kidnapped" their leader.)

It's all cool. Doctor Who is just...brilliant.

heard that doctor who is going to be axed after series 4. Also DT isn't leaving this series(every one should know why). And not in the christmas unless queen elizabeth is in that
Those are just rumors at the moment. And even if it were axed, the fanboys will rally to have it put back on, so nothing to worry about, really.

Wasn't Martha that was supposed to be axed?
I heard that too.

I also heard that Russel T Davis was quiting after the next season.

I heard that their not keeping Martha on for the next series because they think she isn't lively enough and good enough for the part.

It's just rumours so I might be wronnd I disagree with this.

It's all unsubstantiated rumour. Most of which has been denied by the BBC.

I also heard that Russel T Davis was quiting after the next season.

=D YAY!! I really hope this is true. I hate most of his episodes. After all, he was responisble for the god-awful "Love & Monsters" episode.

Steve Moffat for head writer, anyone? =]

Writer of "The Empty Child", "The Doctor Dances", "The Girl in the Fireplace", and "Blink". He's a genius.

EDIT

Not double posting. The member who posted before him had broke the 3 word rule.

But wasnt RTD the guy who wrote Gridlock? That was pretty good. o.o

And is it me, or is a 2 parter with the Doctor not himself then a episode where he isnt in the ep much a bit much?!?

RTD writes some good episodes, but he fills them with a lot of romantic garbage. "The Girl in the Fireplace" carried out the romantic theme perfectly, but RTD goes overboard.

And is it me, or is a 2 parter with the Doctor not himself then a episode where he isnt in the ep much a bit much?!?

Makes a nice change, in my opinion. It was great to see John Smith sink into a weak state as he tried to decide what to do.

The girl in the fireplace was fantastic, I loved Renne's (sp?)'s character. I can't compare between script writer's, as I haven't really been paying attention to that, I just judge some episodes as fantastic, whereas others "could have been better."
