Someone mind explaining to me what a theory (when it relates to uni) is?

I mowed most of the back lawn before wasps and rain set in.

Theory isn't related to Uni, in the UK you've got to pass a driving theory and the practical test to get a full license. The theory revolves around the Highway Code (legislation on the road, what each sign means, what the road markings mean, safest way to be on the road, all that stuff) and a Hazard Perception element (pointing out hazards before they actually cause you to slow down or make an adjustment in position)

the only thing related to Uni I can think of is a test to earn a place at a Uni but I don't believe they're that common

you can get vegetarian imitation meat
i actually prefer vegetarian meat im just not committed to the cause at all im weak

This. I eat a lot of imitation meat, not as a meat replacement, but because I genuinely like it. I'll eat Quorn sausages as a snack, I love them :B
I'm too weak to come off meat altogether though, especially as I'm dairy intolerant and can't digest fats it's sometimes hard to find anything to eat while I'm out. I have a lot of respect to people who can go total vegan and live like that.

I've booked myself some time in the undergrad labs at uni to prepare my Araneae taxonomic collection. Took a while for the lab tech to get back to me but I'm sorted now, with a microscope to take photos, ethanol and everything. Whooo.

First year university results back, overall pretty pleased with them. Over 80% in 3 modules, 75% in 1 module, 65% in 1 module and 47% in my last module. A lot better than I expected and with some work it makes me think a first is possible, which I wasn't hopeful for during this year.

It's essentially common sense on the road. If you fail it more than twice you shouldn't really be on the road.

Hazard perception's a pain though, you've got to keep one eye looking in one direction and the other dead ahead.

I'd say the theory element is actually harder than the hazard perception one because if you're doing the right observations and checking as far ahead as possible then you should be all good. It's planning ahead of what you're going to do on the road

The theory there are bits here and there that can catch you out, but there is a lot of common sense to it. Just got to nail the road markings and signs really.

I tested a way on facebook on how to improved a cake made from a boxed mix. It turned out amazing. If anyone wants to test it out, here's what you do:

Follow the package instructions but do this:
1. Add one more egg to the mix
2. Swap the oil out for melted butter and double the amount
3. Swap the water out for an equal amount of Milk

I started reading Pride and Prejudice at last, got one of my journal entries done and almost a page of notes on my essay topic for the book. I'm only maybe 15 pages in too.

I went into uni today and started prepping for my taxonomic collection on Araneae. They're a lot harder to ID than I'd expected (I'm referring specifically to house spiders, of which there are several species in a similar looking genus) but I managed to get 4 down to species level. Spiders really do look amazing under a microscope! There's so much to them that you just can't see with the naked eye <3
