I feel like the photo thread has been entirely redundant up to this point. Its entire purpose should be to post a piccy of these nails. Pls Alice I beg.

In other news I bought so much healthy food today and I'm quite proud of myself but am I even gonna get the chance to cook??? I'm on a 4 day bender this week and I'm quite worried about my health

I'm at my aunt's house visiting my cousins. I didn't bring my laptop with me, so I'm using my 3DS to type this post instead.

If that isn't an accomplishment, I don't know what is!

^Considering how weird the browser and typing on those things are i'd consider it an accomplishment.

Because of some creative thinking, my mom was able to claim a federal tax refund of over 800 bucks. The rent we collected from the 3 sets of roommates (before one stole silverware/plateware and other things, another took a 3000 loan from my mom for their overblown wedding and then left, and the last one who moved in with us and changed her mind and moved back with her mom (last one is really cool so no qualms with her)) was legally allowed to be counted as misc. income and wasn't flagged. So hooray for being ripped off by everyone.

*adult hat on* honestly if you haven't already i'd recommend getting a slow cooker! Mine was about £25 on Amazon and it's pretty great.
Don't know how hungover/able to look at food you'll be but a lot of recipes you can just fire everything in and cook it for like 8hrs and you end up with food with minimal effort! Also good when not hungover and not having to cook after uni.

I managed to make a little augmented reality thing for my project!!

I second this motion. My mom has made it her mission to make sure we don't fail at adulting when we're shoved out the nest and she preaches that the slow cooker/crockpot is a lifesaver. For the most part it's idiot proof and requires almost no effort, plus you can even make dessert in it if you so wish.

Started trying to make amends with someone I fell out with a few years ago. Like, the fall out was basically my fault but until recently it was one of those "deny all responsibility" type things, but now I feel like I've at least tried to apologise and make amends, so if they don't then that's on them, at least I can honestly say I've done my best.

Took an artsy pic of one of my favourite books a while back for IG and the author just commented on it.

Got down the gym today for a good ol' sesh. Tried GVT for my OHP, had fun with it ngl, thought it would be easy but I was pleasantly surprised.

It's also a really nice day today? Hopefully it holds up for running tomorrow.

We have a slow cooker but I fail to see the point in waiting eight hours to cook something only for it to be gone in five minutes.

^That's why no one really does dessert. Usually when we use a crockpot we make a larger batch of it so we have leftovers.

I'm going to be part of the honor guard for my brother's graduation this year.
