Hi guys. I was wondering if anyone still had an interest in playing any Minecraft multiplayer on PC? I pay for a small server that hasn't been getting any love for a couple of months, so I thought it'd be nice to get the community involved.
We used to have one here some time ago that was pretty fun but there were issues with up-time and other such things. I'm just in the process of backing up my old server data and getting it reset, but I thought I would scope out interest here first. Any and all people are welcome :)

Great, Liam! It's all set up now.
We've got a big forested island using large biomes, with spawn close to the coast. I'm hoping that perhaps we can get a little town going if more people get involved.
I shall be (back) on sometime this evening I expect, but feel free to get started now. I've added the server IP (it's public) to the original post.

Sweet, I had a small server for me and some college friends but it kind of died (and wasn't very good in the first place lol). I'll check it out some time later. B)

Server is coming along nicely we have a (sort of) mine and a (sort of) beef farm come have fun. :)

If anybody finds my underground shelter, they're welcome to take whatever's in there. I'm also going to try and make a sandstone castle in the desert biome, if you're wondering why there's a half-finished cube in the middle of it.
If you want to find the shelter, follow the coast from the cows until you reach a peninsula. There'll be a cobblestone structure with a sign declaring my ownership above the entrance.

Found a mineshaft under my base. Have a look-see if you're interested.
Also, I have 3 diamonds going spare if anyone wants. I'm just happy with the pick. WIll build a portal in the near future.

The machine our server is hosted on is having some problems which should hopefully get fixed soon. (Edit: it's fixed)

I think it'd be pretty cool to build a centralized Nether portal building by spawn, with a large safe zone on the nether side of it. We can all link up distant portals to it inside the nether then.

Nice one! Totally fine for now. When I get more community stuff built then maybe I'll budge it over a couple blocks if need be.

^Indeed I was. Now I just need to build up all that I used to have on those servers, which was quite a hell of a lot haha.

Already had someone complain of stuff being stolen from them. Please remember this is for fun and everyone's enjoyment, so please don't loot peoples' things. If you need something, ask on the request board if someone wants to trade with you, or if anyone is prepared to make donations. I don't want to whitelist the server/have probation periods at this early stage, but I will do if it continues.

Good news, everyone.
After a long trek into distant lands, and spending the best part of an hour wandering around a cave I found, I have returned with gifts of iron and redstone blocks. I' not sure if you have chickens already, but I brought those back with me as well.
And the mine's still not empty.
I can show you where it is, if you want to look around. I even set up a little base near it, with its own wheat farm.

Just as a heads-up, I was doing some extensions underground, and found another cave. It doesn't look like anyone else got there before me - though Laprabi might have.

I'm Bork_Laser on there, probs won't be on that often but it'd be pretty chill to hang on there. Haven't PC Minecrafted in ages actually

Sadly, I ended up closing down the server after a while. People tend to get bored and move on too quickly.
