PKMN.NET / Re: This website is dead
« on: August 18, 2015, 22:48 »
Yes it's a pity, but I think the site hasn't been all that active for a while now. It's kind of crazy to think that I've been on this site for almost 10 years. Nonetheless, even at that, I'm not a member of this site for nearly as long as a lot of other people. A lot of you more than likely don't even know who I am! Nevertheless, I really do understand and appreciate all of that

I think my account on PKMN.net is one of the first accounts for anything I've ever (somewhat) stuck to on the internet. For me, this account has always felt like it's just been there. I know I haven't been a regular user, especially in recent times, and I don't really know or never did get to know many of the more well-known members, but PKMN.net has always been a website that sticks out for me in a way other ones simply can't

One thing that has always stuck out in particular about PKMN.net for me is the humour. I just love the humour on this site. Am I the only one who misses that (I think it was called...) Harry Haunter comedy series thing from a few years ago?! There are quite a few people on here who I'd just love to meet sometime.

The community also sticks out, people used to and still do discuss and share interesting/personal/everyday aspects of their lives, which is something you could never see in the same kind of way on monotonous social networking sites like Facebook where everyone is made out to be some kind of cutting-edge socialite when in reality most tend to be moderately average. The discussions here, for me, have always felt that bit more authentic and raw. It hasn't been a case whereby people have been discussing these particular aspects in order to climb endless social ladders, rather, people would talk about them for the sake of talking about them

When I was much younger, I always found most of the members to be so intelligent and charming, it was such a breath of fresh air to see that, especially when I was in my early years at secondary school. I looked back over some of my much earlier posts tonight and, honestly, they feel as if they were posted by some crazy little kid behind a computer. It doesn't feel like it was me, but it was me, and it just goes to show how much has changed and evolved with time since then

I don't think I was liked that much when I was younger on this site but as time went on, I got to know a few people. All the same, I was still just a young teenager with too much time on his hands. I probably spurted out loads of crazy statements and lies as well which just seems so crazy to think about now, but similarly to what I mentioned above, it just feels like they were produced by some kid with a computer who just so happened to be myself at a much younger age

Here I am, defending myself and my misdemeanours as a young teen O0 but I just thought I'd take a moment to reflect, I don't think I've ever written something like this here before! I'm a proud occasional lurker and I'm really thankful for PKMN.net :)

Well done to everyone in their results. Unfortunately I don't know how the education system works in the UK but I hope everyone is happy. And if it doesn't work out at first then remember there are always other options available! It isn't the end of the world...even if it might feel like it is for a while!

I always told my boss at my coffee shop job sunday mornings were the only time I will not work. She scheduled me for two sundays in a row. My bet is I won't hear back from her, I'll work my saturdays, I won't come in for my sundays, and then we'll see what happens with the schedule next week _/o\_ I'm keeping all in writing so if I magically disappear from the schedule I'll let HR know. Whatever, told her, that's the accomplishment.
Good stuff. I can relate to this. Hopefully there won't be any drama

It took me about 10 minutes to figure out my password for this site. Feels like it has been ages!

Hi guys.. I started a nuzlocke in Pokemon heartgold and everything has been fine, sort of, until I caught the red gyarados. I know you need the red scale to get the experience share so i caught shiny gyarados and didn't really pay much attention to what was being said after i caught it. I just presumed I had the red scale now and so i went to Mr. Pokemon near Cherrygrove city.

Buuuut apparently I don't have it. I just searched everywhere for it, my key items, the pouch items, I checked to see if Gyarados was holding it, I even went back to the lake of rage to see if it had dropped down around there but i can't find it...anywhere!! lol! it's as if it was deleted or something.

Sooo does anyone know what might have happened? I can post pictures if they're needed :) Thanks!

The best skills I've personally developed over the past few decades include:
walking with ease
dancing to sick beats
knitting new clothes
painting lovely pictures
and...
reading Pokemon magazines in my bedroom

In my humble opinion, of course :) !

Team Building / Need Help With This Blissey I Am Raising
« on: January 03, 2015, 21:28 »
Hi guys, I have a level 10 Blissey in Pokemon Omega Ruby and I haven't played Pokemon competitively in a while so I have a few questions and I'd appreciate some help

Have been Super Training my Blissey (Bold) in order to attain 252 EVs in both Defence and HP. Now that I have that finished I need to know...

1. If I level up my Blissey using only an Experience Share in order for it to reach maybe level 50+, will its EVs be affected? Essentially, I plan on battling the E4 a couple of times to level it up, but in doing this will my EVs be affected?

2. Could somebody please tell me of a good movepool for this Blissey?

Thanks everyone for any responses I get & if any other information is needed please tell me :)

Woke up on the morning to a new GHD, some synthetic eyelashes, a certain toy for my collection and my newly repaired kimono under the Christmas tree -- thanks mom

I am joking  v_v Got some movies, cards, clothes, games, jewellery and more. I'll probably get a few hellos from cousins and friends and acquaintances over the coming days as well. Hope you all have a happy new year and a great time :)

Crobat is brilliant :D I'm surprised I managed to evolve Golbat earlier than usual.
My Pikachu is the Cosplay Pikachu you get in Slateport and so far, so good :)
Anddd Marshtomp just rocks ;P

Met up with someone yesterday for the first time and we had a really great time together :D What was meant to only last about 1 hour turned into a nearly 10 hour long series of getting stuff at cafes, restaurants and finally a bar :) andddd we're going to meet up tomorrow again after we finish work so I hope it goes just as well as it did yesterday. It is crazy how quickly this kind of thing happens :D

And to make things better, Pokemon Omega Ruby version is about to be played :D

:D

My first triumph? Well, I finally got Pokemon Omega Ruby version :D

My first struggle? Well, I can't find my 3DSxl recharger anywhere D:

Curses.

I really think Mega Sharpedo and Gallade have got the look. Mega Camerupt isn't too far behind and I'm sure I'll love Mega Camerupt eventually. I can't wait to play around with them when ORAS come out :D
