You know, shiny colorations that don't fall under "amazing," "terrible", or "can't tell the difference between it and the regular one at a glance". They're kinda just there.

For me, Hariyama is one of those shinies. It isn't that it doesn't switch up the color scheme enough, or that it's particularly bad. I just found regular Hariyama to be cool enough, so it was probably going to be hard to top it for me in the first place. I'm sure Shiny Hariyama has fans, I'm just not one of them.

How about the rest of you? Any shinies that stick out for, uh, not sticking out?

Shiny Bulbasaur is one of those too.

A lot of the barely changes Shinies come to mind. Particularly Gengar before Mega Evolution and Togekiss Gen 6 and onwards

Some of the Shiny Pokemon are terrible such as Salamence, Espeon and Dragonite. Shiny Pokemon are good to have but, some of them aren't very good to look at.

Murkrow. Color is awesome, but it doesn't make sense on him

Pelipper, the green is awful but it looks okay somehow.

I have a fondness for Shiny Pelipper. I found a Shiny Wingull and caught it as my first Wild Pokemon within the first ten minutes of starting my Ruby game.

The name master

Shiny Articuno. Instead of something really cool, we just get a lighter shade of blue.

Should've been purple or pink or something.

Much better!
Thanks to Inferna for one of the many reasons why I love Dragonite!

Articuno being a black Shiny would be pretty awesome. Mainly to give the term black ice a literal meaning and Articuno does produce blizzards out of nowhere.

Flygon's is just....ok. They lightened the greet, added a brighter orange and some blue. There's a difference, but they could have done something a lot cooler with it.

Shiny Totodile is just too predictable. A green crocodile, where have I seen that before? Oh, I know. EVERYWHERE!

Don't get me wrong. Shiny Totodile does look pretty cool, but predictable.

Umbreon's falls flat with me. It only got blue rings and that's it.

Hariyama is a large, bulky Pokémon that is modeled after a sumo wrestler. It has narrow eyes and rounded ears. On its head is a short, triangular crest.
