I have created Lord Ravin', a victim of a sad story, who as young nameless boy struggled to survive in his parent's 6 bedroom flat in North London.  However, when he came of age, and was bestowed the title “Lord” he launched a series of explosive raves in response to the injustice he saw in the world.  The raves became a nexus of flashing lights, banging music, and people to drunk to remember, and as they grew so did his influence.  Eventually, the whole of North London became an unstoppable scene of raves, 24/7 people were were forced to party under the decree of Lord Ravin', who plunged  the fair area into limitless sea of flashing energy.

“They will join us one day.” thought Lord Ravin' with a drink in a hand. He cast his eyes the world afar, calm under the darkened night sky while his empire around him lit up and the anthem of his followers hammered endlessly.

General Pokémon Discussion / Re: How do I pronounce NIdorina?
« on: December 26, 2015, 16:34 »
I'm going to close this because it seems it will be a target for arguments.

I also want to say this, Name Rater Master,  please in future think about the topics you are going to make.  A topic should be used for something that will create discussion, your question "How do I pronounce Nidorina" is far, far too limited to make it an interesting or worthwhile topic.  May I suggest, instead of that, you make a topic on Pokemon pronunciations, in which you can ask your question but could lead to a more interesting discussion, have wider scope and won't become useless after 3 or 4 posts.    It's okay if you want to ask these things, but you should ask yourself if it's worth making a  topic for each and individual question.

If you have any doubts if something is actually a worthwhile, then please PM a member of staff who can give you advice.

Clearly another hat.

Man In a Hat works alone, because another high-class villian like himself, is too of a rare thing to find.

That and no-one will respond to his Facebook requests.

That's if he's doing them right.

Mine is the scheming gentlemen who goes by the name “Man In a Hat.”  A self-styled gentlemen, born and raised in a 3 bedroom semi-detached house in the English town  Bognor Regis,  Man In a Hat, at large, is the  dark streak that runs through the peaceful seaside city.  His terrible crimes range from the dastardly -  vandalising road signs so that they display the incorrect amount of miles to a destination, to the truly unforgivable – digging up prized flower gardens and stealing from duck ponds.   However, as a gentlemen, “Man In a Hat” would never want people to be too inconvenient because of his misdeeds, so he always announces his crime sprees in advance On Facebook. (or so he says, others think he can't tell the difference between his Text documents use for planning and Facebook wall)

Hopefully he'll be played by a good actor the inevitable film adaptation.

Without sounding like some sort of Resident Evil anorak, the RPD building was an art gallery that was converted into a police station in the 1980s. Chief Brian Irons was an avid art collector so many of the keys/statues and stuff were all modeled to keep up with the art theme.

Ooh, that's an intresting peice of lore that just makes me appricate the game more itself.

There detials of RE is my favoruite part of the series' story, usually don't really care about the game-to-game storyline, (Mansion! Zombie! BARRY! WESSKEEEEERRRRRR!) but the background, lore, monster and building desgins make it soooo intresting.

That said I did love RER2's story.

With the recent sort-of-we're-doing it and then "Actually, we are!" annoucement of the remake, I've been playing the PSClassic that's been sitting on my PS3 since I bought it nearly 6 months ago.

Enjoying it.  Controls take a bit of time getting used to, but despite that and it's dated graphical power, it's art style, its carefully framed shots and  soundtrack is making it very enjoyable, and  it is quite tense despite it's age.   I loved Resident Evil 1 HD, so I'm hoping to play through the classic series.

Although who on earth desgined the Racoon Police Department to be so complicated to get to point A to B, you'd think a career that relies so much of speed in responce to urgency would avoid using doors that recuire you to collect x number of red gems, of tokens, or solve statue puzzles.  Hasn't anyone approched them and asked to justify taxpayer's money on buying prusemely expensive gems and statues for the sole purpose of making it harder for their forces to get around?

It's amazing, how gamers and the gaming industry have come together and are near-unanimous how tragic and how much we've lost from Mr Iwata's passing.  But they've also come together and celebrated the life and work of this great man who loved video games just as much as any of us and did so much for it.   It speaks volumes about the respect and admiration gamers had for him.

I'm not going to lie, it's been very hard keeping a dry eye over the last day or so.

Thank you Mr. Iwata, you were taken far too soon, but you leave a wonderful legacy.

HI GUYS

I finished my job a few weeks ago and I was banking on me getting another by now and.. that hasn't really happened, to my dismay.   Sadly, this means money-wise I'm very short.. and I won't be able to come.  :(

Hope you all have a good time.
