Title: The Inheritance Cycle RP? [Disc]

This is my first RP idea so bare with me  :wub:

So about this time last year I was reading The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini, it's set about 30 years after the time of the Dragon Riders, which is the time which this RP would be set in.

The Dragon Riders were a league of humans and elves - for whom Dragons 'hatched for' meaning that when a Dragon was in it's egg it would sense a worthy human/elf and hatch, becoming their Dragon. - who kept peace in the land of Alagaesia between all races.

In this RP you will be either an elf or a human who has just passed Dragon Rider training (so around the age of 16 - 18) in which they became a magician, a scholar and a warrior. At your graduation the news breaks out that a group of 13 'forsworn' Dragon Riders including the future King, Galbatorix, go rogue and rebel. You, the new Dragon Riders and your Dragons team up to fight the 13 Forsworn.

Does this sound good? Should I make it? Would you join?

...Just mentioning here, unless it's an AU, if we get to the end, our chars are guaranteed to be either killed, enslaved, or converted to evil. Not trying to burst any bubbles it's just...

Well I was planning on it being a more, take the story in your own direction thing so Galbatorix might not end up King, we could win or someone's Dragon might die, or the forsworn might turn good etc. It would be more of a 'take some of the features of Alagaesias past but then make it different'

Ah. So as far as canon this would be alternate timeline, or alternate universe. Okay. Was just making sure that you had an answer to the whole... storyline history problem

Eh. Call it an AU and be done with it. Means we aren't confined to the events of canon history. (for the record i intend to join this)

Well I'm reassured that there'll be at least two characters. I might do two characters myself because I love this book series so much.

Haven't read the series, but I'm into that fantasy kind of stuff. Why not? I'd give it a go.
