Say Hello! / Re: returning?
« on: November 15, 2014, 05:26 »
oh dang yeah trevor I remember you! welcome back! :U

17
Sixx continued to float in his SCRAP-guise for a few moments. Internally he was pretty proud of himself; he wasn't too good at imitating man-made and inorganic looking objects yet, so this was a good skill to develop. Then, suddenly, the little bug Pokemon skittered close, looking almost a bit...nervous? With a claw, it reached out and poked Sixx's illusion, pressing right through it and prodding Sixx in the side. The Zoroark made a quiet yelp of surprise as the SCRAP illusion flicked and shattered. He slumped over and breathed hard, looking over at the little bug. "Heh. Only works until someone messes with."

He then looked over as the real SCRAP explained his difficulties in contacting home. His ear twitched and he glanced at Nova as she told the Porygon that there was a pretty big chance his kind were dead and gone. "Yeah," he added, looking back at the boxy blue Pokemon, "I mean, I don't know if there's any... interference in this area, but there's a huge chance whoever you're looking for is dead." He blinked, "I guess death is a pretty big interference."

Patrick, meanwhile, went back to curiously examining the little Anorith. It was kind of like a fish, but definitely more like a bug. very odd, but very neat. He was glad the little guy had found its way to their camp, surely a much bigger Doomsday Pokemon would have eaten it by now otherwise!

18
"Pory...gon? Mmm, alright. Good to know," Sixx nodded, focusing more on the second part of what SCRAP had chimed. From another planet, he said? Wouldn't that make him an alien of some kind? The Zoroark had thought the only out of this world Pokemon were those pink star shaped things. Clefairy and all them. Guess you learn something new every day, he thought, and snuffed a little.

Patrick grinned as the little insect accepted the berry. "Yeah, there you go!" he yipped, patting the Anorith with one of his feelers again. His ears then twitched as SCRAP explained he too had berries on his person. The Sylveon watched in amazement as the Porygon claimed he didn't need food or such biological necessities to survive. He quickly turned to Sixx and waggled his feelers, "Sixx! Can you turn into this guy? He's so cool! Like a robot! An alien robot!"

Sixx blinked and glanced at his brother, before looking back at SCRAP. "Hm." It was a good question; he'd created illusions of more mechanical objects before, but to him this was a creature somewhere between living and mechanical, a different being, to say the least. "Lemme try."

Suddenly, the Zoroark's body and the air around him rippled as he focused his mind. His appearance faded from doglike to box like, and after a few moments he sighed out, looking less like how he did normally and more like SCRAP the Porygon floating in midair, save for the fact his eyes were still a pale teal in shade. Patrick's eyes bugged as he watched his brother put up a convincing illusion. "Woowww!" he turned to the real SCRAP and the little bug,"My brother can turn into anything he wants to, you see. It's a real neat trick!"

"Okay, technically I didn't 'turn into anything',"
Sixx huffed, still in his guise, "I just put up an illusion...messed with the air and crap like that. I don't know. I just do it."

19
Sixx blinked at the other Pokemon's confusion. He wasn't very used to speaking with others who had such a literal understanding of things. After a minute of pondering his reply, he spoke again. "Okay, so um, basically. Even though he," He pointed at Patrick, "Isn't...like, my real brother, we've been together all our lives, so we have a super tight bond and we treat each other like we're really related. Does...does that make sense?" he squinted an eye, unsure if he was being concise enough.

The boxy Pokemon was then describing the other, smaller Pokemon, explaining that it couldn't speak their language. However, it then suddenly crackled and flashed, and Sixx jumped back a bit, lightly startled. He continued to listen, though, and he seemed to get the point. "Okay...so we don't really know what you are, huh?" he mused, looking down at the small Pokemon Patrick appeared fascinated with. Sixx clicked his tongue, looking back at the Pokemon who spoke so oddly, "And....um, what kind of Pokemon are you, exactly? You're....different looking." To be perfectly honest, he'd never seen a Pokemon with so many flat planes before.

Patrick grinned as the small Pokemon made a cute chirping noise noise. "Aw, well that's okay! Even though we don't speak the same language we can still be friends! Smiles are and kindness are universal," he said, his cheesy sentiment earning a quiet scoff from Sixx. Ignoring him, Partick leaned over to rummage through his leather satchel, plucking a small oran berry from inside. He leaned and placed it down before the insecty Pokemon, and tilted his head curiously. "Hungry?" He knew he probably wouldn't understand, but he hoped his body language would help.

20
Sixx's less battered ear twitched up as he listed to the boxy Pokemon speak. He almost scoffed a laugh, amused by its robotic tone and odd accent. He followed the gist of what it was saying though. "Ah, got it." He glanced over, noting Patrick was too preoccupied with the other, bug-like Pokemon to answer the robot-like one's statement about genetics. "And...ah, we're not really. blood relatives. He was adopted." Sixx shrugged, "We're close as blood though, that's what matters to me."

He looked down at the small bug-like Pokemon and tilted his head, "What exactly are you, anyway? never seen a Pokemon like you before. So...small, dang." The Zoroark stepped back a bit, claws crunching in the snow. Already he was nervous about accidentally crushing the tiny Pokemon.

"I don't think he can talk Sixxy!" Patrick said to his brother, "Or, he's just rrrreally quiet-oh!" he stepped back a bit, cautious as the small bug drew his claws. After a moment, though, Patrick saw the other Pokemon relax, and he smiled once again. "Yeah, hi there! I'm a friend, I promise." The Sylveon lied down on the cold ground to be more at the fossil Pokemon's line of sight. Cautiously, he let one of his felers curl over and gently touch the small Pokemon right between the eyes. "Boop!" Patrick giggled.

21
Patrick grinned and perked up as he saw Nova heading back to the camp with the two new Pokemon. From what he could tell, the other Pokemon seemed to be some kind of lost travelers maybe? They certainly didn't see mean. Quickly he turned and ran back to camp, eager to say hello.

Sixx, meanwhile, looked up as Nova came back and explained she'd found a pair of odd Pokemon in the woods. He eyed the small insect-like Pokemon and the boxy, almost mechanical looking one with curious eyes. Finally, he pushed himself up and cautiously came over. He looked down at the small insect Pokemon, then the boxy one, and bobbed his head. "Yeah, they look fine. You two lost or something?" He scratched his furry belly and yawned a little, "My name's Sixx. My brother is...um. Somewhere. Around."

Patrick suddenly leaped out of the darkness, landing in a neat sitting position and smiling warmly at the new visitors. Sixx yelped, stepped back a bit. "Hello!!" The Sylveon greeted. He then quickly turned his attention to the small bug-like Pokemon on the ground, fascinated, "Ohhh my gosh, and look at you! You're so small! Hi! I'm Patrick!" His feelers curled wildly, as if overeager to wrap around the potential new friends.

22
Sixx turned his head, interested as Nova went off to go take care of some personal business. He snorted, rolling over onto his other side, using his thick fur as a cushy pillow. He blinked up at the stars, tapping his claws on his belly. Hope we don't get ambushed tonight or anything... he thought. He shivered nervously; the very thought of being attacked while unprepared made him extremely uncomfortable. He cut his eyes over and could see Patrick loitering around on the edge of their allies' little camp, watching the horizon. Snuffing, the Zoroark settled down, content to watch the stars.

Patrick, meanwhile, was highly curious. Nova had gone off in the direction he could have SWORN he'd seen something moving around nearby earlier. Did she see something he'd missed? Now highly curious, the Sylveon looked back to make sure Sixx wasn't going to yell at him for wandering off, and quickly he scurried after Nova. Within a few minutes of searching, he spotted her, talking to... an odd boxy blue and white Pokemon? No, wait, it wasn't alone..there was something small on its back too. Patrick squinted his soft blue eyes, creeping closer. How peculiar! Are they mean or are they friends? he thought, his feelers wiggling rapidly.

23
Sixx was already curling into a large furry ball as soon as the group stopped to the night. He watched as Keira went off to gather wood, and then continued to watch once she came back and bickered with Fleur about who had the first watch. He smirked a little as he watched the Ninetales be put to sleep by her own Hypnosis, and shook his head a little. "Amazing. That girl just doesn't go down without a fight no matter what, huh?" he mused to himself.

Suddenly, Patrick poked his head out of SIxx's massive back and head fluff, grinning. "OooooOOOOOO, SIXXY'S GOT A," he leaned in real close to his brother's ear, "Crrrrrushhhhhhhhh."

Sixx's eyes flew open wide as he whipped his head to the grinning, giggling Sylveon, "h-hey! You shut up, I...I do not!" he cried, swiping for him as Patrick ducked out of the fur and bounded away. Quickly Sixx looked around, praying non of his compatriots heard what had just been uttered. He settled back down, stealing another glimpse at Keira and scanning around the horizon. He licked his lips, mumbling to himself, "Keep it together man, keep it together..."

Patrick meanwhile continued to giggle as he fled his brother and peered out across the land around him. His feelers still writhed as if eager to give the nearest living creature a hug. He squinted, convinced something was out there. He hoped it wasn't anything nasty.

24
((Hey just a head's up my posting may be only once or twice a day; I have a very busy class schedule and a massive outside project I've been assigned so I have to juggle my time. Thanks for understanding! ;u; ))

Sixx's ears twitched, and he looked around as the small group headed forward. "Something following us?" He said quietly. He sighed a bit and stretched, shaking out his fluffy mane, "Great."

Patrick bounded along next to him, smiling breezily. "I'm sure it's nothing we can't handle!" Just then, his feelers wiggled a bit, and the Sylveon turned his head, stopping and squinting. He could swear he could see something...hopping? Hopping along their footprints in the snow? He blinked, shaking his head. "That's weird!" He remarked to no one in particular. The way his feelers were wobbling about make him giggle; they seemed almost excited for something!

"Hey, Patty. Come on," Sixx called, glancing back and seeing his brother was now several paces behind him. He heard Keira saw they weren't stopped for a little while still, and he didn't want Patrick to get left behind. Thankfully, Patrick perked up and quickly came back over. The Zoroark rolled his eyes a little and pressed forward, "Don't dawdle, dude. We move fast."

25
Adjustments have been made and my forms have been finished! Lemme know if  I gotta tweak anything else ;u

26
Name: Patrick
Pokemon: Sylveon
Gender: Male
Appearance: Looks like the average Sylveon, albeit a little shorter. He also has a slightly longer and fluffier tail. His feeler ribbons are constantly waving and wiggling and curling around whatever's close by. He has an optimistic air about him, and is usually gently smiling.
Personality: With a quiet voice and friendly words, Patrick is a kindhearted friend to all, good at soothing arguments and calming frightened souls. He keeps his chin up no matter what, and doesn't let the little things trip him up. He hates seeing others in pain, and wants to restore the world to its peaceful prior state. He's also a bit of a weirdo, daydreaming and making odd comparisons and collecting whatever little baubles he can find just for fun.
For his cute looks and sweet personality, though, he is a skilled defensive battler, good at confusing and wearing out foes while Sixx physically takes things down. His relationship with the Zoroark is extremely tight, and he is the best for calming Sixx's anxieties.
Moveset: Protect, Double Team, Sand Attack, Moonblast
Weapons and Gear: Keeps a little leather satchel around his side, full of berries and little trinkets he's discovered along the journey.
History: Patrick never knew his birth family. His egg was accidentally knocked out of its clutch, and ended up at the bottom of a ditch until it was scooped up by an expectant Zoroark mother who felt bad for the lost unborn child and took the egg back to her nest. He hatched with her other Zorua babies, and was raised along with them as their weird Eevee sibling. Sixx was one of his 'siblings', and the two became extremely close, brothers in every sense except blood. The love they have for each other is what allowed Patrick to evolve into a Sylveon. When the Doomsday virus stroke their entire family was wiped out, leaving Sixx and Patrick to strike out on their own and make due. They eventually joined Fleur's legion, and travel with hope a cure will be tracked down.
Starter post: [see below, his and Sixx's are combined]

Name: Sixx
Pokemon: Zoroark
Gender: Male
Appearance: Has a bit of an odd condition where the markings around his eyes aren't red, but black, giving almost an eyeliner-like appearance. The black tips in his back/head/tail fur are also bigger than normal, leaking into his main red fur. The bead-like ornament clipped around his tail is silver instead of blue-ish green. He's tall and lanky, but often hunches over, hiding his true stature. He's missing a few teeth, and his right ear is badly mangled and ripped up.
Like all Zoroarks, Sixx can create illusions and make himself appear as other Pokemon; however, his illusions are often easy to discern if one looks hard enough. Notably, he has trouble changing his eyes, meaning when he appears as other Pokemon he tends to still have his bright teal eyes. Large scale illusions wear him out quickly, too
Personality: Sixx likes to play up a real tough guy act to impress people, rolling his eyes and snarking and threatening enemies, but in reality, he's a very nervous creature. He spends a lot of time quietly trying to not have an anxiety attack and having trouble making friends. He admires Keira heavily, but never can find the words to say it. The Doomsday virus sickens him, and he wants to find a cure badly, to prevent the atrocities that befell his and presumably innumerable other families.
Patrick is the most important Pokemon in his life right now. The two play to each other's skills excellently, and battle best as a team. Sixx is constantly keeping an eye out for his 'brother', and would be beyond crushed if anything happened to him
Moveset: Night Slash, Agility, Hone Claws, Dig
Weapons and Gear: Sharp claws, speed, and his cloaking techniques.
History: Sixx was always a nervous boy. He grew up with his siblings under the watchful eye of their mother, a shy and quiet baby fox who spent a lot of time with his odd adopted brother Patrick. He grew close to the eevee, evolving not long before he did. All was well until the Doomsday virus struck. He watched his own blood kin be turned into monsters and fled with Patrick into the wilderness, roaming about without much of a cause and often getting himself in scuffles until they joined Fleur's group.
Starter post:

"You're trembling,"
Patrick said quietly, delicate body flattened against the cold, snowy earth, hiding as much as the short pink creature could. One of his feelers appeared to be wrapped around a tree branch. He watched the building Fleur had gone into, listened as commotion rumbling from inside. He hoped nothing was going wrong.

"Something's happening in there," the tree replied, shifting a bit and causing an odd rippling along its limbs: a telltale sign of a Zoroark illusion, "And I don't think it's something good."

"Ah, well, with that attitude, of course not!" Patrick giggled. His large ears perked up suddenly, as he watched Fleur rocket out of the building, vial of cure in hand. He grinned, and turned his head to the "talking tree" "You see! Always such a Negative Nosepass!...Hm?" The Sylveon squinted, spotting a Lucario their Buizel leader was now getting into a bit of a growling contest with. "Oh my..."

Just then, Fleur called for everyone to come out, and with a heavy sigh the tree rippled and faded, revealing a hunched over, huffing Sixx. It'd take him a little to recover from that illusion. He looked up, spying Nova the houndoom not close by, and turned to watch as Keira appeared, screamed at, and attacked the Lucario. "tch. Serves that idiot right."

The brothers crept closer as the confrontation came to a head, Keira practically decimating the Lucario with an Overheat. Soon after, their little survivor group was back on their way to Kalos, though Sixx kept glancing back at the lab and hoping everything was going alright. Patrick bounded beside him, smiling. "Well, that's a finished step! Just a little more closer to a full cure and happiness for all." Sixx looked down at him and scoffed a quiet laugh, reaching to muss the Sylveon's head.

Role Play / Re: Pokémon Generico [P][C]

Toby had to huff a laugh when he heard the complained of the ginger man a few paces away, the one with the purple clam-like monstrosity. "Bro, I don't think it's going to stop," he called at the uncomfortable young man, "Because if it was, I'd certainly be trying to get rid of this...eeughh, thing." he jabbed a sneaker towards the boiling lava slug, who blinked at Toby expectantly. After a moment, the rubber on the edge of Toby's sneaker nearly began to bubble from the extreme heat, making the chubby man yelp and step back.

He looked around again, saw the boy he'd been conversing with was now dealing with a floating...balloon type thing? It was almost cute. He rolled his eyes and grumbled. "UGH! You should consider yourself lucky." By now he was growling at nearly everyone else who had approached the bizarre little tree, "At least you didn't get stuck with this. What even is this?! It keeps LOOKING AT ME?!?"

The fiery slug blinked its wide eyes erratically.

As soon as Toby saw the other young man take a similar device out and show him, he felt some kind of relief wash over him. He wasn't the only one, then. Weird things were happening to others, just like him. The other boy continued, explaining that he'd found the device, a purple one as opposed to Toby's orange one, on a table in his house. Toby nodded, all the while watching out of the corner of his eye at the flaming slug next to him. Thankfully, it hadn't' advanced any closer, but it still watched him with those huge, golden eyes.

"Yeah, we're...we're the dots. The tree's the X" Toby looked down at his range device, noted more dots getting closer, surrounding the tree. Looking back up, he saw these two new arrivals, another young ginger man with glasses and a shorter, stockier boy, one who almost reminded him a bit of himself, with a goatee and fair hair. The former appeared to be dealing with...cotton candy? A cloud? What the hell was that thing? The latter had some kind of yellow sumo wrestler...thing with him, and both boys appeared to be in their own states of confusion.

Toby blinked, taking it all in. He thought he heard the ginger with glasses say hello at one point. Looking between him and the other boy, the one who showed him his purple device, he sucked in a breath. He felt the heat of the slug next to him, pulsing into his leg.

"Dude, this is so weird," he said, finally, not directed at either of them. He ran his thick fingers through his hair, bugging his eyes. "This is really, really weird."

It took Toby a minute to even realize he was being approached. He was focused on the.....thing in front of him. It was some kind of animal, he was guessing, but nothing like he'd ever encountered before. The heat billowing off of it was tremendous, which made sense, seeing as it looked to be made entirely of...lava? Well, except for its eyes, its bulbous golden eyes with tiny little pupils staring right at him and blinking slightly off from each other. It looked to be glowing red hot, bits of its lava body dripping onto the already scorched grass.

It was disgusting.

"Ohhhh my God!" Toby finally figured out how to make words again, shaking his head a few times as if this were a dream and he was going to wake up and this flaming slug wasn't going to be in front of him. Alas, this was reality and the abomination was still there. Blinking at him, as if expecting something. Toby spat his smoke onto the ground and snuffed it out with his foot. This isn't real. This...I'm so high right now. That's it. I took every last thing in my stash last night. Only reasonable explanation.

Just then, Toby realized someone was watching him, and he whirled around just as the person spoke out a single "Excuse me." Eyes wide, it took Toby a moment to calm himself back down. He examined the boy speaking to him, craning his neck up a little to meet the taller boy's eyes. He was a skinny type, super short hair, fairly average looking. Toby noted he didn't have any bizarre abominations on him, unlike the man a few paces away from them, with that weird purple thing licking his face. He shuddered.

After a moment, Toby felt a tinge of irritation go through him. Who was this guy? Couldn't he see Toby was having a dilemma of his own? He looked down at the orange device still in his hand, still displaying an image on the screen. To his surprise he spied a small purple dot right next to his orange one. He looked back up at the other boy.

"...You have one of these?" he asked after a minute, holding up the device. As he did so, the lava slug chose that moment to become slowly creeping over towards him, leaving a wake of burned earth after it. Toby glanced over, saw it, and yelped, rocketing backwards, "H-hey! GeT THE HELL AWAY FROM ME!" He snorted and moved back about a foot, watching as the slug blinked at him and paused, before tilting its head in a remarkable inquisitive gesture.

Breathing quickly, Toby looked at the other boy again, "These...machine...watch things. You have one too?"

((fwee! I'm glad this cool idea isn't dead in the water or anything ;u; VERY EXCITED LET'S DO THIS))

The walk was not clearing Toby's head. Not in the least. As he glanced down the empty streets on the way to the park he felt dread drooping further and further into his stomach. Is everyone dead? Christ, am I dead? Did I die in my sleep and this is hell or something? He thought nervously. Reaching in his hoodie pocket, Toby groped around until he found his cigarettes, hastily retrieving one and his lighter. Popping it in his mouth, he ducked his head down and flicked the lighter, igniting it and allowing him to take in one long, satisfied inhale.

Feeling a bit more calmed now, Toby huffed out a long stream of smoke, walking slowly and alertly. He knew the park wasn't much further now. He reached down into his other pocket and pulled out the device he'd found on his table along with the note. Frankly, he wasn't sure what it was. It was a lovely shade of orange, but looked too high tech to just be a watch. he tapped at it with finger, curious if it had an on-switch or anything. He breathed a laugh, recalling a friend of his who loved taking machines like this apart. He'd have a field day with this thing...

As he stepped foot on the first tinges of the park's grass, though, Toby's mind was torn from investigating the device and immediately focused on a new curiosity: the sound of screaming. Jerking his head up, he was surprised to see he could see...someone in the middle of the park, a faint figure, in front of something smaller and clearly not a person. He blinked, cigarette nearly tumbling from his lips. Is that who I'm supposed to meet?

He hustled forward now, moving as quick as he fat body could. He made it quite a few paces before the orange device in his hand started beeping. Loudly. With a yelp Toby nearly threw the thing across the grass in surprise, but thankfully he managed to hold onto it. Heartbeat thumping rapidly now, he held it up and noted it had turned on, its screen displaying a splotch of green that had to be the park. And...a tiny dot of orange...was that him?

Examining this further he walked, Toby noted he was approaching a black dot near a red X on the screen. Glancing back up, he licked his lips, figuring that was the figure he'd been seeing. But what was that red X? He moved faster, also spying a slew of other colored dots approaching the park as well. What the hell is going on? He thought.

Finally, he was close enough to see what he deducted to be the source of the scream. It was another young man, only a few feet away, and there was a....thing in his hands, licking him. Unfortunately, Toby barely had enough time to process this before he noticed what he figured had been the red X: a bizarre baby tree, sagging with even more bizarre rounded fruits. Or, were they fruits, really? Toby stumbled forward a few steps, looking at the tree in wonder, and his eyes fell upon an orange orb nestled amidst he scraggly branches, growing bigger and bigger suddenly, clearly no fruit he'd ever seen.

Then the orange orb grew so large it popped right off the tree, and hit the ground with a solid thunk, before bursting open in a flash of light that Toby never would have expected.

And then he was shielding his face, a wave of massive heat before him suddenly, the smell of burnt grass assaulting his nostrils. When he finally pulled his hand away and saw what had burst from the weird tree orb, the only sound he could make was a frightened and vaguely disgusted 'eeugh?!'

He still felt heavily uncertain that he wasn't high.
