Title: Fan-made versions of other songs
Post by: Petzbreeder on April 03, 2014, 13:56
Has anyone made their own fan-made versions of other peoples songs before?
I have! (https://www.dropbox.com/s/2wpix242doz54w6/Fan-made%20Remember%20the%20name.mp3)
What do you think of it?

I love Remember The Name by Fort Minor, my cousin was actually the one who inspired me to remake it!

A cover version is when you add the singing (or rapping in this case!) on top of the instrumental track, whether the instrumental track was fan-made or not.

An instrumental version is where there is no singing/rapping whatsoever.

You can download and use it on youtube if you like, just give me credit for making it. I use the name Brally's Brawl on youtube.
Could you also give me a link to your cover of it as I'm interested in what it sounds like with someone else rapping.

My covers are just covers of various rock songs really. Part of my latest one can be found here (http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_songInfo.cfm?bandID=1130514&songID=12744847). Now finished the rhythm tracks, just got to stick a vocal on it.
