NEW SITE: The Acid Reflux!

Mulholland:
Right, we were going to announce this in a week or so but now seemed as good a time as ever but... WE HAVE CREATED A NEW SITE!!!

*ting sparkle sparkle*
So what is The Acid Reflux (or TAR for short)? Well, the idea was originally thought up earlier in the year (or last year I forget) and spare time has been used to construct this new site.

The basic thing is we're all growing up and some people are beginning to lose that loving feeling with Pokémon. This site is a way for us to channel our PKMN.Net stylings to something more wide-ranging. So we made a magazine site (like Popmatters or AV Club) where things like movies, film, sports etc can be written about.

As of tonight's re-launch myself, Lottie and Typhlosion all have articles up but... and here is the cool part... so can you!

Simply register with the site and the forums there (ooh new forums...) and you can read, comment and even write your own articles! Seen a great film? You can review it! Heard an awful album? Review it! Want to start your own regular piece? Pitch it and you can be a writer!

As of now we are mainly using the PMs to communicate since I am unsure about e-mail addresses at the moment (but if you have me on Facebook that would work too). Also, feel free to tell your mates if they long to be entertainment journalists! This is good padding for a portfolio.

That's it for now (also, if your write enough you get to join the exclusive Facebook group). I hope you enjoy the first articles on pasta, iOS games and the art of film adaptations!

Neon Nocturnal:
This is exciting! :D

I'm going to join and see what all this is about :)

Mushroom:
Signed on up! Lets see if I can think of some work to submit. Do you have problem with me submitting some older articles of mine that would fit to fill out the site along with the new stuff?

That would be great!

I would like to put more stuff of my own up but... those lessons won't plan and resource themselves.

Seriously, that would be amazing :)

Mushroom:
I've got a friend who does book and videogame reviews and pointed him towards TAR too, hopefully he will submit some stuff soon
