Is anyone besides me finding it impossible to make in-app purchases with Pokemon GO?

One of the best ways to catch Pokemon that I've found is with incences. I used the first of the two that I got for free without any problems. The second one I used didn't help me much as it kept crashing every couple of minutes!

I hate to admit it, but I've become quite addicted to Pokemon GO. I've only been playing for two days!
I'm level 4 and desperate to get level 5 for the gyms.
