Well, that just means less money they have to spend on that and more money they can spend on other things, like Christmas possibly. When I go off to Uni, we'd be thrilled to get through it without having to buy anything, but that's not happening.

Good luck with the Uni prep :)

As for me, I just got home from a relative's place and I seriously hate re-adjusting to my normal home, even if I only stay away from it for one night.

Well the uni have sent me a list of stuff that I nee to bring, so I'm about to go through that with my Mum and check all the stuff that I've already got off. I love lists.

BGU did that on a neat little kitchen towel!  ^.^

I just hope my uni sells uni hoodies.

There are always things you dont necessarily think of that always crop up. In my dorm in first year, for example, no one thought to buy a can opener (between 18 of us, that's pretty unlucky), whilst in second year no one had a kettle

Second year no one had a kettle and third year no one had an iron

Don't be the person who brings nothing and has to use everyone else's stuff. Being that person isn't the most fun ^^;

I am usually that person, which if you dont mind sharing stuff is okay by me...

I promised I'd proof read an essay, but there's so much wrong with it I want to cry and I'm only on the first page...

I hate the way "vacuum" is spelt.

My father has just come into my room, rearranged my stuff, opened a closet that hasn't been opened in years, and taken my dart board so that he and my brother could play with it. It wouldn't be a problem but it's half two in the morning and I know that they'll keep it and damage or lose my darts in the process.

I'm actually quite annoyed because it's likely that my board will be going in the shed and it'll go into the attic once they're done with it because nobody has respect for my stuff in this house. I remember coming home once to find my dice box missing and nobody had the decency to tell me what happened to it even though they left the little "pillow" I had put in there.

To top it all off, the door to the closet is falling off and everything that had to be moved is sliding over.

It's half past two in the morning. Why couldn't this wait until the morning? Because I mentioned that I had a dart board that I would love to hang in my room.

Nah, he's literally taken it from me to give to my brother whilst lying to my face.

my younger cousins are over and they love visiting because im just really cool idk but it's just weird for me to think that they're actually at my house right now and visiting so much all of a sudden because their mother is very publicly cheating on my uncle and he has depression and it's REALLY been hitting him hard lately and he's been surviving on caffeine because the home situation is so bad and it's probably not a healthy environment for the girls to grow up in. Everyone seems to know divorce is inevitable because counselling hasn't worked for quite a few years and they're only together "for the kids" but idk it makes me feel weird that i'm really involved of the lives of these kids where this could be the beginning of a strange time in their life. hangs on my conscience

a girl from my year got married to a guy when she was 18. given this is america and they're both two of the nicest people i've ever met, but still very odd to me.
My cousin just turned 18 and got engaged recently.
My parents got married when the mother was 18 and had me when she was 20...

It seems that kids before 20 is he norm these days though. Loads of my friends have started to get married now though.

i mean my nana got married at 17 but she wanted to and it was like 50 years ago. my mum got married at 22? i think and had me at 23. too young. i am too young to think about these things i still sleep with teddy bears

Nothing wrong with that!

I still sleep with Noddy, I've had him since I was like 18 months old or something!

man i just hate it when people just tell you "maybe" to plans like yo its yes or no you can't just throw me on the back burner without a good reason. i'm taking that as a no every time and i'll straight up stand you up if you thought i'd wait around for you to make up my mind as to whether i'm worth your time or not.
