Someone tried starting on me because they thought I was being funny with a female bouncer because I asked her what clubs does she work at in the city. I only asked because I go drinking with my girlfriend and it'll be fun to be able to say hello to a bouncer.

This whole white knight attitude rubs we the wrong way because it assumes that women have an inherent weakness?  She even said that she can fight her own battles when he awkwardly stepped into things.

Diffused the situation by being friendly to them.

Like, for you younger posters, if you saying/doing something is what's going to decide whether you have a physical fight with a stranger it's just better to be friendly to them. Ask em for their name, make the conversation into a conversation between two humans.

I'm typing this after a night out so if this is a horrific mess then I'll edit things when I'm in a better mindset to do so.

^Nah you're cool. And the whole white knight thing rubs me the wrong way as well because most of them are the wrong kind of "nice guy" and act like they're the judge, jury and executioner of the conversation. A lot of the time they jump in for the wrong reasons as well.

Anyways, we don't have a working furnace and it wouldn't be as bad if not for the fact that it was near freezing last night.

Need to get a bank statement for proof of address but they charge £1.12 per page for a paper statement. like, it's not a huge amount, but still annoying for something that you can get for free if you don't try and help the environment by getting online statements. £1.12 is like a ridiculous amount for a sheet of paper too lmao

It's pretty petty to have a list tbh, gotta let things go.

^ top tip friend, cranberry juice is known to be good for that BUT most cranberry juices you can buy are 'juice drink' and contain like less than 5% cranberry. You're much better off with orange juice and actual oranges as well cos the citrus is even more effective at cleaning out ya waterways and orange usually has a v high percentage of orange

^Ocean Spray has a lovely crangrape juice. Idk if it's sold there but I would think that helps. If not, definitely go OJ.

Bowling was bad tonight, averaged about a 140. :[

I'd favour lists over spreadsheets because a) spreadsheets can be overanalytical and b) you want to have them with you for the majority of times for efficiency which is easier with lists
