First off, I'd like to apologize for my absence on the site. My computer's been in repair, so I haven't been able to board the forums here recently. Now, to the topic at hand.

Tears of joy and disbelief streamed down my face as I gazed upon the most beauteous sight I had ever beheld in my entire life: the odd yet undeniably glorious coloration of my first shiny hatch/first shiny in Pokemon X. In case you haven't figured it out already, it was a Trapinch, deep bluish-green in hue, and truly a sight to behold.

Now, this isn't all about me. I'd like to hear some of your favorite shinies, and how you acquired them. Was it your first shiny? Was it your starter? Was it a legendary? Post anything related to your most beloved shinies here.

(If you've yet to find one, post about which one(s) you'd like to catch, if any).

I'm loving my shiny Mega Garchomp atm - much better than original Garchomps shiny ^_^

I have a list of favorite shinies actually...

• Emboar (Constant masuda method breeding got me this blue bearded beast)
• Metagross (Never caught one, but DAMN it looks awesome)
• Scrafty (Over a thousand eggs masuda method breeding, I had to delete all the baby Scraggys from the PC box, only to find a shiny one hiding in one of them. Sneaky little...)
• Hydreigon (One of the few shinies where snot green actually looks awesome)
• Greninja (That black and red color scheme is just... Ninja.)

I love Mega Gardevoir's shiny.

 I had a shiny Zubat which I called "BLACKY". When I moved it from Saphire to Diamond I noticed that it wasn't black and that it was green.

I caught a shiny Sphinx through chaining and it didn't feel the same to me since it wasn't down to luck.

I have to say, I do really like shiny Charizard. Never even had a shiny Charizard or seen one in game either.

My favourite all time shiny is probably Giratina. I have done 20,915 SRs for this thing over the last 5 months, and no luck so far.

After that, Wooper, Jumpluff, Beldum all rank among my favourites...but Charizard is not one of them, though it's a decent shiny.

Ha, what once was my shiny Trapinch is now a majestic shiny Flygon I've named Tony. It's got a relaxed nature, but I don't plan to use it too much in battle, and instead keep it as a sort of trophy.

I have a Shiny Weavile on Pokemon Black. I'm not a big fan of the different color scheme, but a shiny's a shiny. Weavile is my second favorite Pokemon, and his Jolly nature makes Ice Shard, Brick Break, Night Slash and Swords Dance turn Weavile into a monster.

most of my favourite pokémon have shinies which look pretty much the same as their normal colour scheme, just to annoy me. 
by "most of" i obviously mean "shedinja and froslass", i can't think of any others rights now.

i also like the ones which are inexplicably lime green, like kabuto/stantler/jolteon/ursaring. 
 
as for actual shinies that i own in actual games... uh, i have none of those. 
really i had no shinies ever at all in a game until in White 2. where i found in the wild a shiny rufflet, goldeen and tranquill. all within about two weeks of each other.   
all probably terrible in stats, but i don't care. 
it was incredible. 
i'm still chuffed to bits over it.

I hada shiny Ralts. I was torn between evolving it into Gallade (it was male and I needed a Physical attacker) or Gardevoir (Mega evolution *and* looks like the Belle-of-the-Ball). Went with Gallade instead.

I has it. It OHKO'd Lysandre's Mega Gyarados. Found it among a horde, smack dab in the middle like it was their leader. So awesome.

I really like Giratina, as Spriter SR|XL mentioned.

It looks miles better when it is in Origin Form by the way ;)

Fantastic shinies, mates. By the way, I just hatched an Adamant shiny Chespin! My luck's not over yet!

metagross, umbreon, magikarp (shame gyrados wasnt golden) and mew are a few of my favorites.

ive had the misfortune of only catching 2 shinies, both on pearl (which sort of broke ahaha). geodude and zubat, both in the cave outside of oreburgh or whatever.

My favorites are Pumpkaboo (saw one on the GTS), Watchog, Purrloin/Liepard (my first Shiny in my Black game), Klefki, Vanllite/Vanillish/Vaniluxe, Metagross, Bronzor/Bronzong, and Ralts/Kirlia/Gardevoir/Gallade.

My favourite shinies are Shinx/Luxio/Luxray and the unevolved elemental monkeys.
