Tell me about any fears that you have. Strange or normal, its up to you.
My worst normal fear would have to be my own death. When I went to primary school, I lost many of my friends to death by some means or another. I've always feared that I'll be next!
My worst strangest fear would have to be Mark Hamill! I was afraid of the Joker from Batman when I was younger, but when I discovered that the Joker was voiced by Mark Hamill, I started fearing him instead. Strangely, I always got an odd vibe from him when watching the original Star Wars trilogy, even before I found out that he was the Joker. Just seeing a picture of him or seeing his name written on a website or something is enough to make me feel weird.
So what are your worst fears?
Normal fear: Heights (Falling, or specifically freefalling). It's the helplessness that gets to me mostly. The fact that you can do nothing about stopping yourself and you have to come to terms with whatever may happen before you make contact. Plus the sensation isn't fun. I also don't like Wuthering Heights, but that's not a fear.
Strange: Drowning. Not because of the fear itself, but the irony of me loving the sea, and my name meaning "of the sea".
idk i have a literal fear of everything lol
pregnant people horrify me though. people find that weird, but its at the point where i hate going to my doctors office because it has so many posters up with pregnant people on them. i dont know what it is, i just see their bellies and begin to shake and feel nauseous and panicked. im terrified of the idea ill somehow become pregnant one day.
Normal fear: Abandonment. For someone who likes excessive amounts of alone time, the thought of being completely alone with no friends again really scares me.
Strange fear: Needles. My fear of needles is so strong you can't even suggest I may need to get one without me being reduced to a scared, hyperventilating mess. I can't even look at people getting them on tv or in movies without freaking out or looking away.
being scared of needles is pretty normal though
im scared of all the normal stuff but like bananas freak me out pretty bad? some kid put some bananas down my shirt back in elementary school and they really gross me out. but i had a dream a few years back where bananas attacked me and i can't take them
i can eat strawberry banana flavored stuff if i can tell myself "they're just artificial flavors calm down"
I'm afraid of heights except like in an airplane, ziplining, or anything like that. I just hate looking down and thinking "wow a strong gust of wind and i will be dead"
i'm also super terrified of bees. like i've gotten better at controlling my fears around bees but at one point i would freak out and start crying if a bee got too close to me. even today people assume i'm deathly allergic because if i see a bee i'll try to stay at least 15 feet away from it. one time one landed on me and didn't sting me... most terrifying experience i've ever had and i've been in a car barreling at 70 mph towards another car. getting stung doesn't bother me at all. just the bees.
the extent of my fear of bees is probably the only weird thing about it because i know a lot of people are scared of them
Terrified of pregnant women. It's not natural.
Also terrified of drowning, and afraid of heights (more the falling and the vertigo but there we are) and daddy long legs.
Could be worse; I know a girl who is afraid of mushrooms.
I'm terrified of scorpions, guns, female body builders, and popping balloons. I can't stand to be around inflated latex balloons but foil ones don't affect me. I'll freak if I see someone jumping on a balloon.

oh thank god im not alone lmfao
I used to be terrified of seaweed as a kid lol thankfully I don't live near a beach! Still freaks me out a little tbh.
I've always hated spiders, I can't even look at pictures of them. So you can understand how on sites like Facebook where people share 'WORLDS LARGEST SPIDER!!' type clickbait posts are just nope. Thank god for tumblr saviour.
Another thing that gives me the creeps is any injuries involving fingers or bones. Especially on tv or something where someone's getting a finger or shoulder popped back into place and you see it at a weird angle ugh nope. Ngl if I broke a bone I'd probably pass out. I have no idea why I'm scared of this, I've never broken a bone or had any injuries to my hands??
Experienced the fear a few months back though! I caught my thumb in a car door, so I was freaking out, the nail had gone black and it was really swollen. ended up going to the nurse and having a hole pierced into it. Honestly I reverted to a 5 year old child pulling away and not even letting her look at it lmao. It was fine though, nail is a bit wonky now but

I am also afraid that a certain actress' s will turn out together Anti-Christ.
we get it, you don't like natalie portman. chill.
normal: spiders, sort scared of the dark and heights.
strange: mould. can't stand it. i also have a vague fear of being hit by a car?? idk if that'd be a normal fear or not. also volcanoes. i live in wales. there are no volcanoes why am i so afraid??? it is a mystery
I also never liked the way Quiladin's face looks. Its creepy smile and blank stare makes it seem like it watches you while you are sleeping and playing with a knife plotting to stab you as you sleep. I really like Chespin and Chesnaught but Quiladin makes me hesitant to properly raise and evolve Chespin. I'm just thankful for Exp All so I can get a Chesnaught without having to look at Quiladin's face.
I guess the only strange fear I can think of is waiting for a balloon to pop. I'm okay with balloons, but as soon as I think 'that might pop', I start to get really jittery and nervous and want to move as far away from it as possible. Super weird!

Ever drop a bunch of CDs during a party?
For some reason, i'm afraid of being away from home for too long because I think something might've happened while I was away.
normal fears are heights, other people shouting, loud noises etc
strange fears are the sound of metal on metal and there was something else in my head but i don't remember it
Water. Specifically water I can't stand up in. So any swimming pool deeper than 5'10'' is a no go zone
normal: heights, water i can't stand in (i can't swim due to reasons), used to be scared of the dark but i'm okay with it in some situations, bees, wasps, zombies, hornets, needles, abandonment, loud noises in my ear, being shouted at
'strange': hairdryers because my hair got stuck in one once
lawnmowers by association (it makes a loud noise and cuts things and its scury ok)
eye horror (the reason why this is here is because i'm also a huge sucker for horror stories. whenever eye horror is even referenced i freak out internally for the rest of the book. i can't put it down. cthulu whispers in my ear cthulu whispers in my ear cthulu whsipes in-), and nails too
little holes. its trypophobia. i don't recommend googling it but its basically stuff like honey combs or radio speakers with the holes. it's very irrational but i start getting really uncomfortable and scared and panicky and i cant help it and even thinking about it sets it off oh damn nooooooooooooooooooooooooooope.avi
oh and i have a huge fear of planes going over my house at all. i get into a panic every time and assume the plane is coming to crash full on into our house because it comes so low.
but wait there's more!!!!
i'm also afraid of touching or putting my hand anywhere near bins. the lids in particular. so i have to force open the lid with my rubbish and i have less than a second window to throw everything inside. if i miss it stays on the floor.
im also afraid of talking about my real feelings because it sounds like im whining but hey
EDIT: LMAO IM A NERVOUS SCARDEY CAT RIP RIP RIP RIP my lIST is too LONG and its not even all of my fears on this diddly darn list
I'm uncomfortable around a certain type of weight lifting machine since I saw Final Destination 3. If you've ever seen the movie then you'll know what I'm talking about. Also never liked taxidermic animals unless they are behind glass. They freak me out completely.
Awh, man! Is it the leg-press machine that crushed that woman's knee caps?
That wasn't in the movies. It's the arm press thing.
