Despite what my signature says, I'm not actually French. I just enjoy speaking and understading a little bit of it.
Ever since I discovered the Masuda method, I've been glad that I can rely on myself to catch any Pokemon I want in a french game. Trading with an actual French person would be a little difficult for me since I don't understand all that much.
I play my games in English.
Je joue mon jeux en Français.
I can catch them all in English.

If anyone wants a French Pokemon to use for the Masuda method, I can get you most Pokemon that can breed.
I may make a forum thread at some point in the trading section, just for trading French Pokemon with anyone who wants one.
I speak Urdu, makes it interesting to hear other Pakistani people talking down on others lol
apparently scots is a recognised language so i guess im bilingual in the whitest way possible
i tried to learn korean once but i got scared. japanese looks fun too. and french. but then i try to learn them and end up just crying because i can barely speak english what am i doing trying to learn other things.
I know some Korean and Chinese.
I learned Gaelic in school instead of French lol. I do know little bits of French from doing it in primary school but not that much.
Gaelic was fun to learn, I can probably read it better than I can speak it now but I'm thinking of studying it again. If you're fluent here you'll be snapped up for a lot of jobs in teaching and media stuff now.
Besides from that I tried a few times to learn languages on Duolingo but gave up lmao

I love being able to speak another language! I'm fleunt enough in Cantonese to hold a simple conversation (because I've got basically no chance to hold a conversation in England except with my mum, who barely ever corrects me) but definitely want to be able to speak better and actually be literate lol.
Am also trying to learn Japanese too, but that's been put on hold because I haven't got time yet. Would love to pick up German again after GCSEs, but that's lower down my priority list.

Most people in England don't want to learn another language because we're arrogant enough to think that when we go to another country everyone should speak English to us.

A lot of Americans are the same way except with people coming over from foreign nations being required to speak English.
hablo espanol, pero solo lo suficiente comunicar con locales en espana y en las americas. se como comprar billetes, comidas, bebidas, y regalos pero en un conversacion... i'm bad at conversations because i regularly hit roadblocks in how to actually communicate certain words. also when i type i never wanna use the accents so i wonder how google translate will interpret all of that.
but when i was in spain with my roommate i think i saved her life so many times because nobody spoke any english and i studied spanish for 5 years so people could just barely understand me. it's hard to learn other languages in the US because in a lot of regions you don't usually talk to people who are native speakers of other languages.
attualmente studio italiano in firenze, ma non parlo molto italiano. but I've only been studying it for a couple months and I'm definitely picking it up faster than spanish, probably because they're very very similar. i have an italian boy that tries to help me study and talks to me slowly in italian which helps too. last week we were like "lunedi, martedi, miercoledi, giovedi, venerdi, sabato, domingo", which was fairly easy because those are almost the days of the week in spanish.
i also know a few slangy terms in italian because i have an italian friend and he wants to learn english slang because that's like 90% of our language and it's hard to learn it in a classroom.
oh y mi frase favorito en espanol es "muy guay!"
In the film short circuit 2, the main character (johnny 5) says this Spanish phrase "Tu mama hace el amor con mi perro!" which in English means "your mother makes love with my dog!" LOL! XD
