I'm making an animation

But I don't think I will be able to finish it before I leave school (I'm not making it for anything)
Should I keep part of the story the same or go back to the original idea?
Idea I have now:
An evil gang try to kidnap Latias and kill Nidorina. They get Latias eventually (with some help from Nidorina) then try to kill Nidorina. She saves herself and is later partially healed by Skarmory. Nidorina, despite still bleeding and not being in a good shape for fighting, goes after her attackers in revenge. She evolves herself, battles and defeats the gang and captures the leader. After being revived, Nidorina and everyone goes to Hawaii for a holiday.
Orginal idea:
Mudkip and Skarmory ruin Latias's performance after she got rid of Nidorina. They go to Hawaii. There are no evil gangs this time.
Man, it's honestly up to you.
If you're not making it for academic reasons then you have free reign to do what you want with your project.
Your current idea sounds a lot more intense and your original idea sounds a lot more innocent and fun. That's just my 2p.
