Is there a pokemon that you've never used/tried?
I've never used Rhyhorn/Rhydon. I think I should, though. Maybe in Fire Red.
Also never tried Krabby/Kingler, Electabuzz, Goldeen/Seaking or Syther, to name a few.
Never had the chance to use misdreavus/mismagious, as much as i love their designs. Either theyve shown up too late in the games or ive not had the right version or whatever. Heres hoping they show up fairly early in sun/moon.
Koffing/Weezing, Tauros, Chansey (never even caught one!) Ditto, Gengar, Golem, Machamp, Psyduck/Golduck, Poliwag/Poliwhirl/Poliwrath, Growlithe/Arcanine, Lickitung, Staryu/Starmie, Vaporeon/Flareon, Pinsir, Mew, Articuno
These are all gen 1 pokemon I've never tried.

I used a Rhyhorn in Battle Revolution, worked really well in double battles as it had Lightningrod.
roselia... which is why i caught budew when i restarted y last night
i wanna try a run with mons ive never tried before but i havent played x/y in so long i dont even know what those are
Well I mean, there are a lot of Pokemon I haven't used/tried, but if we're talking "not used for serious on a team despite wanting to" or whatever, then yeah, I've been there too. The past few games have given me a chance to check off the majority of them on my current list, though, so right now I think it's just Druddigon and Exeggutor:
*Druddigon simply because I think it's cool
*Exeggutor because I've always been curious how to get one to work, but also I'd forgotten about it and Exeggcute so many times to the point of not-forgetting. It's like my personal Dunsparce in terms of "So forgotten it's remembered". (I think Alolan Exeggutor is great too but I owe the original a try first)
Similar reason to The Hooded Trainer as to why I haven't used Druddigon yet, but the only excuse I have for not using an Exeggutor is whenever I get an Exeggcute, I never get far raising one, and you need to evolve it with a Leaf Stone, which makes me wonder when the best time to do so is... so I've just never gotten around to it really.

What does that ability do?
In double battles, Lightningrod redirects Electric attacks towards the Pokemon with the ability. Useful when the Pokemon with the ability is paired with a water and/or flying type like Pelipper.
Gen 2 pokemon I've never tried:

I've not tried any megas, simply because I haven't played anything beyond gen 3.
So all of gen 4, 5, 6 and 7 are pokemon I've never tried!
