It's a minor thing, really, but I don't really have another topic to tack this on to, so here it is seperately. After a not-actually-a-request in PKMN.NET, I have now added the capability to select previous and next fanfics for series and the like. The relevant dropdowns show up when editing your fanfics.
-
Ok...why do we need this?
-
Because a lot of people seem to enjoy writing fanfics that are made up by multiple parts, which are posted seperatedly due to length, yet that people will want to read together, in the right order, without having to search for the next part.
-
Damn my bloody haste! I just uploaded 3 parts to one fanfic, 28 parts to another fanfic, and then a further nine to a spin off. All last night. :(
Regardless, this is an absolutely smashing addition, and I'm going to and edit everything now. Thanks a lot. ^_^

The discussion about that in IRC partially inspired me.
(And I've already edited one for you. I needed a test case and this was the easiest for me :) )

HOORAY!
My series "Lucas and Dawn! Adventures In Sinnoh!" and its soon to come spin off "The Eevee Brothers! THEIR Adventures In Sinnoh!" can now be linked! Hoorah!

Oh thank god for this D:
it'll be a whole load easier now <3
BUT
Previous part
Which fanfic of yours, if any, precedes this fanfic?
Previous part
Which fanfic of yours, if any, comes after this fanfic?
should the bottom one not say next part?

And I went to submit a fic and it said this:
Error occurred (#1064): You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'ORDER BY en_title' at line 1
:( IM SCARED TO SUBMIT ONE! :(

Invalid variable value when adding a new fanfic instead of adding one. It's now fixed.
'Next part' fixed as well, error in the language file.
-
Are you sure?
I edited it to link but it led me to a page with all the normal stuff and just the fancy fanfic logo.
I checked to see if it had previous and next but no.
-
I can't replicate that here.
-
Oooh, pretty cool =)
I think I requested it once, but yeah. Thanks =)

I noticed, and thought I was losing my memory. I had them all set out in my head, and got into a rhythm. It was wierd, I assumed I must have just editted it and then clicked on it again, but the comment at the bottom from me was different. That explains it ^_^
Thanks again, this makes it easier for the reader to locate one of my many, sporadic chapters. (Oh, and I noticed that problem, but I didn't think to report it. Still made sort of sense...sort of. o.o)
