That's right- the Japanese Pokémon Center - a shop that sells exclusively Pokémon goods - is now selling this Pikachu themed GBA SP. The only difference to a regular GBA SP is the casing. Inside, it's just a boring old GBA SP.
The outside is quite pretty though- it's bright yellow and has Pikachu's face on. It's almost like if you were to taxidermy a Pikachu and install a games console in case of its guts.
This GBA SP is the latest in a vaguely lengthly line of special GBAs- the majority of which have probably been Pokémon themed. Previous versions have featured Latios and Latias.
To comment on these revelations, we've enlisted the support of two expert pundits on this subject: Celebrity design irritation Linda Barker, and British mega-finance-man, Gordon Brown.
I think this looks really, really nice!
I agree with the Pikachu GBA SP in principal, but before we adopt it, it must first complete five economic tests: compatibility, scalability, contestability, mental agility, and tell me when I'll finally be Prime Minister.
Thank you, pundits.
