Information :: Diamond and Jade Other Pages

In Japan there was a game called Keitai Denjuu Telefang it was one of those Monster Pet games. They were released in Speed/Power Versions. Then when the Pokémon Hype kicked in some Chinese translation group translated it (badly with cursing and other stuff to) and slapped the names Pokémon Diamond and Jade on them. They eventually sold copies of them, then more, then more and they even popped up in some Games shops.

Keitai Denjuu Telefang Speed & Power Versions were released in Japan on 3rd November 2000 and the pirated Jade & Diamond was released sometime in 2001.

HA! I played these. They're actually pretty awesome games! I just wish it was released in proper English. There are sequels available for the GBA actually, though I haven't played them (and also not released in English). What you must know before getting them: 1) DO NOT BUY THEM AS IT'S SUPPORTING PIRATES AND USELESS TRANSLATORS 2) I believe at a certain point in the game, the translators obviously got bored cos it turns into Japanese (or rather, gibberishaiugb($(%(^%lol(^)%R(^%*) 3) When saving the game, it's down to luck if it will load on next game boot. 4) oh and did i mention %^$%&&&_&($%%Â£%&)_&^*^$$^&*)&*% 5) The stuff they actually have translated is rather hit or miss as to if it makes sence or not. 6) the story you can more or less get if you re-read EVERYTHING to be sure you know what's going on. Though after a while it gets complicated. 7) :{}|$|:%^Â£^*&%(^%&(^$^&%$*&^(&^(^&( (Translation: it gets very addictive actually. I liked it, even with the Engrish and random^symbolz`&. 8)Finally, I just want to say that it's NOT a fake game. It's a game that was badly translated to make people think it was a Pokemon game. Add a dodgy box that's just a screwed up Gold/Silver box and you have the ultimate in pirated game. I would go into gameplay, but this is a Pokemon website and not a telefang website. If I was asked to talk more about it, then I'd be more than happy to ^_^

Diamond didn't excist back then, plus instead of jade, it's supposed to be Pearl!
