Actually, Wigglytuff comes from wiggly+tuft, not tuff. Gengar comes from the doppelgangar (sp? and I can't get those accent things that go over letters, sorry), which is a German myth about a kind of 'evil ghost twin.' Oh, and for Macargo, escargo's correct spelling is 'escargot.'
