Well this is a bizarre event. I (Psythor) have uncovered some information on lost Pokémon. These were never included in the Gold, Silver, and Crystal games and will probably never in any game. One thing worth mentioning is thatall this information could be fake, we just don't know! Anyway, here are the mon:
This little chappie to the left of this is known as Hapa. As you can see, it looks a bit like a Chikorita that has been in a food processor. Well we can't really say much can we? Lets move on...
Somebody call 999, there's a Pikachu on fire! This flaming rat is called Honooguma. If you look at it, it also look a teeny bit like a Nidoran and one site claims that it is a predecessor of TEDDIURSA (yes, thats what I thought). Apparently, the name means Fire Bear. By Jove.
This is an early Qwilfish called Huguu. Maybe its cuter than the little nasty one we know now because it wants to Hug-gU? Oh never mind. Anyway, maybe we could see this in a future game as a baby Pokémon?
To the right, do you recognise this? If not, then I don't know what you're doing here. Kirinriki is a very, very early Girafarig. It looks like they originally intended for it to be symmetrical just like the name (Girafarig), but then decided "no, this is boring". If they kept Kirin in, then we wouldn't get that cheesy smile we've all come to know (and love...).
Aww, they must have taken Kurusu out because they thought no one would want to beat the crap out of it! Maybe this little guy was a pre-evolution of Seel? Or not. According to one site, it is a "Snow type" Pokémon, and the snow type was taken out. Hmm.
Woah. Mariru, a beta version of Marill, looks like a pink hamster. If its original name was as close to Marill as France is to Spain, then where in the hec did the name "Pikablu" come from. For those uninformed people among you, Pikablu was the name given to Marill in between the time where Marill's picture was released to the public and the release of Pokémon Gold and Silver.
I've also managed to get hold of some beta Game Boy pictures of new Gold and Silver Pokémon. As you can see, matching the potential beta screen shots on another page, you can tell Pokémon Gold and Silver was never really intended for the Game Boy Color!

Pikablu... It was once rumored as Raichu's evolution, because of a... Text error... in Red/Blue (I don't know which version contained the text error). There's an in-game trade in which in one version the one you'll trade with looks for a Graveler, while in the other he looks for a Raichu. If you've done the trade with Raichu, he would say next that the Raichu you traded him evolved (Graveler evolves to Golem when traded).
