Nintendo of Australia have revealed when Pokémon RS will be released over there, its so close to the American one it can only mean good things to Europeans.

This news item is more than 45 days old. Updates are unlikely and newer information may already be available.

Coinciding with the "Oz" release of the GBA SP (see previous news), it will be released on April 3rd, 2003- a mere half a month after the Americans.

What could this mean for the European release date? It could be very soon, considering that Britain in particular speaks the same language, and there is absolutely no regional lock outs on GBA games. Could our hands be on these games very soon? Only if Nintendo are clever and leave the glue coating on the boxes.

Of course, Europe which Nintendo consider to be one country (I'm all for globalisation, but still), speaks many a'language and when a game can be bought in London, it must be available in Brussels, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Paris and Berlin too. It may take ages to translate to all those languages.

Anyway, if the games are released in Europe early, everyone wins, if they're not you can import from Austrailia at dirt cheap prices. Everyone wins.

Its going to be a good year, kids.
