Nintendo and Motorola have teamed up to create a wireless link up adapter for the GBA- and the first games to use it will be the new Pokémon games- Fire Red and Leaf Green.

This news item is more than 45 days old. Updates are unlikely and newer information may already be available.

The device is a small "thing" that plugs into the top of your Game Boy Advance, much like the GBA to Gamecube lead. The device, which will work on 2.4Ghz, will allow upto five players to do things- although the limit for most will still probably be four.

The best bit is that it doesn't use up loads of power. Word on the street is that this will be built into the next GBA.

PUK are predicting that this might lead to a new way to download rare Pokémon- in the same was as blue tooth does with internet connections, perhaps if you're in the right place, you'll be able to get a Mew?
