In a press release 4Kids entertaintment has shown how well Pokémon has done over the past year in America and also given some news on it's future.

4Kids Entertainment (the company that dubs the Pokémon animé) said in a press release on June 4th that Pokémon is a "timeless property" and is still being introduced to "new generations" of fans. The press release gave details of Pokémon's performance in the US over the past year:
- Pokémon Advanced is one of the top rated kids TV shows.
- Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire were the #2 and #3 best selling video games of 2003.
- Pokémon Heroes (the 5th movie) VHS and DVD was #1 "Top Kid Video" in it's release week.

The statement revealed that Fire Red and Leaf Green will be released later this year and the Kids WB has renewed for three more seasons - that's another guaranteed 156 episodes that will be dubbed!

And people say Pokémon is dead...
