Nintendo are kinding fixing the Berry Glitch for residents of the UK who aren't fortunate enough to have a Gamecube to do it for them, free of charge!

James is very sad. He thought he had it all going for him on his Ruby Version. That was until he got hit by... *gasp* The Berry Bug! All his trees stopped growing berries. James knew how to kill off this bug. Simply download Jirachi from Pokemon Channel or trade with Pokemon Colosseum. But poor James didn't have a Gamecube. He slowly went insane, finally spending all his days staring longingly at the other kids, whose Versions all worked fine.But now, James and people like him, have a shining glitter of hope. Nintendo are fixing the Berry Bug FREE OF CHARGE to anybody who sends their game cartridge to them. And, most excitingly, they promise a FREE GIFT to anybody who does this. Below is the exact statement issued by Nintendo:
Our technicians will upgrade the game for you free of charge, and you'll also get a special surprise gift! To get your gift, your game must be set up properly. Here are the requirements:
1. Make sure that your active team has five or less Pokémon in it.
2. You must have saved the game at least once after obtaining Torchic, Treecko or Mudkip from Professor Birch.
If you meet these requirements, you'll receive a very special gift!
To get your Cartridge fixed, simply send it to:

Presumably, you have to tell them where to send the game back to, or you kiss goodbye to your game forever. Though if you have any questions, you can also ring Nintendo on 0870 6060 247 (Calls are charged at the National Rate to the caller).
On a final note, we reckon we know what this Special Gift is. The whole thing sounds strangely similar to a previous American Berry Bug fixing thing, where people were treated to a free Shiny Zigzagoon, holding a Liechi Berry! We're trying to get confirmation of this, so don't take it as fact. More highly educated guess.
