Nintendo are at E3, the biggest event on the gaming calendar, and they've shown on some of their new kit- you could be playing Pokémon on this in the future.

This news item is more than 45 days old. Updates are unlikely and newer information may already be available.

Holy slant! It's the successor to the Gamecube, the Nintendo Revolution! It's only a working title, mind.

What?! No controller slots?! That's because the controllers are all wireless. It also has built in wifi, so it can connect to your Nintendo DS, as well as your home wifi network, allowing you to play online against thousands of people for free.

There's 512mb of built in flash memory, as well as an SD Card slot, has two built in USB2 ports, and can play DVDs.

Oh, and it's back compatible. That is to say it will be able to play NES, SNES, N64 and Gamecube games! There's not a slot for the older games, mind, they will have to be downloaded from the internet.

It'll be out some time in 2006 too.

Game Boy Micro

This is the Game Boy Micro- don't worry, this isn't a replacement for the DS. This is just the GBA, again, shrunk down even more than ever before, and is designed for "stylish" people who's trousers don't have decent sized pockets. Silly people.
