Zapdos	Hiraishin If you ignore the glaringly obvious problem that comes with giving a Pokémon a Japanese/anime-oriented nickname (overdone, and all that) Hiraishin means 'Flying Thunder God', which is fitting, to say the least. Also - and oh no, I'm talking about Anime! - the guy that used the Hiraishin in Naruto slaughtered hundreds of enemies in the span of a few seconds, so there's that. Zapdos	Lightwing Well, I was thinking of a name when I caught this thing, and I figured in my mind that, obviously, when you think of an electric type, an URORIGIONAL name is Lightning. However, you can make a slight play on words there to change it into Lightwing. Not only does this reference to Zapdos' speed, it also includes both his types; a play on lightning,and the word wing (flying).
