Tyranitar Nicknames

Tyranitar	Aoraki Named after a New Zealand mountain (also called Mt. Cook) and is the highest mountain in the country. I wanted something that conveyed sheer size and strength, as well as had an geological ancientness to it, just as Tyranitar did. After a bit of research into some mountain ranges, I found the mountain Aoraki (a very stunning mountain) and named my soon-to-be tyranitar after it! Tyranitar	Aggdarex "Agg" refers to "aggregate", which symbolizes its Rock-typing, "dar" is for "dark" symbolizing its Dark-typing, and "rex" in this case symbolizes two terms, one of which is for "king" and the other to pay homage to the Tyrannosaurus Rex, of which Tyranitar seems to share in terms of traits and a few physical attributes. Tyranitar	Malachite Malachite is a green-colored stone, and Tyranitar is a green-colored Rock-type. Also, "mal" is the Latin root for "evil," which ties in with Tyranitar's Dark-type. Tyranitar	Grimlock In Transformers, there was an Autobot named Grimlock who's alternate form was a Tyrannosaurus Rex.
