Absol	Casimir Casimir is an interesting name in that it has an uncertain etymology-people are unsure exactly which root the first half of the name came from and because of that the name could either mean 'keeper of peace" or "destroyer of peace". I thought it was fitting for an Absol since in a way it tries to 'keep the peace' by warning people of natural disasters before they strike, but people often see it as a 'destroyer of peace' because they think it's the one causing the disasters. Absol	Managarmr In Norse mythology, Managarmr, also known as Hati Hróðvitnisson (yes that's a retarded name) was the giant wolf who was destined to swallow the moon, releasing his father Fenrir and resulting in the death of Odin. So the moon (*cough* dark type *cough*) and the whole "destiny" theme of it fitting in with Absol's ability to predict disaster, and the fact that Absol is a canine-looking pokemon. Boom. Absol	Kimba I dont know too much about it, but basically "Kimba" was a television show in japan (Actually frighteningly similar to Lion King, one definitely could have been ripped off from it. anyways Kimba is a white lion, when i saw a picture of "Kimba" standing on what looked like Pride Rock, it reminded me of Absol. Absol	Ablun I've always thought of Absol meaning Ab-"Absence" and Sol-"Solar"; The absence of the sun, therefore a dark pokemon. I flipped the meaning, so that now it is the absence of the moon (AbLUN-"lunar"). If I took an absol everywhere I went, it probably wouldn't be hanging out in the dark so much anymore anyway, so now it's in the absence of the moon.
