Torterra	Tug Well, I didn't want to name him Tur because I'd probly say Turd, and now since he's a torterra, the name's even better because he has to be strong since he's lv.94, and he has to"tug all those pokemon". Torterra	RootRictor Torterra is a Grass/Ground type, right? Well, a root is the part of the plant that generally grows in the ground, and a richter scale is used to measure seismic energy in earthquakes. But, since there was a 10 letter limit and I didn't know how to spell Richter at the time (I'm a moron, an idiot, loser of the spelling bee. Beat you to it!), it ended up as RootRictor. Torterra	Stalin Named after Joseph Stalin, powerhouse of the Soviet Union. Like his Soviet counterpart, Torterra is also a powerhouse. Also I think Torterra's face looks like Stalin's. Torterra	Tree-Rex Well name rater, although Torterra is supposed to be based on the Japanese turtle God Genbu or something, it rather looks like a big lumbering dinosaur. Torterra	Bonsai Because it's a continet pokemon (like a tree0 - half ground, half grass (roots and grass). Bonsai is a cool japanese tree, so it fits in with the whole Japanese Pokémon theme and its types. Torterra	Akupara Akupara was a turtle in Hinduism that held the Earth upon it's back. Since Torterra is a turtle with a world on it's shell, I found it fitting. Torterra	A'Tuin I named it after the Word Turtle, A'Tuin from the Discworld novels, because Torterra carries land on its back while A'Tuin carries the Discworld on its back.
