The fact that too much negativity is being shown on these forums. Not everyone is going to post in the same manner and if these new members are 'spammers' then you might as well call me one too. There's no need to be elitist about it all.

I agree with this. However there are times when you have to wonder if the poster really has their head screwed on right. I understand being new and all that, since I know I was horrible when I first started here (ahhh the old days...only 4 years ago O_O ) but even new people have at least a little bit of common sense sometimes? I think it's more frustrating than annoying, especially when you see that the new people can post good posts, then (i hate to use this word and I'm sorry) 'spam' occasionally and make themselves look bad.

It takes time though. Not every new member is automatically going to bring something new and positive for the forums. Not straight away at least. People really expect too much and then it's just easy for others to look down at them. I can kinda see where you're coming from but you've also got to remember some of the ages of people joining too =P

Yeah, some people act like posting a lot/recently joining is spamming. They're just new and excited, so they're using the forums as much as possible. Sure, if they're just posting a load of rubbish then they're spammers.

I think it's also to do with the fact that some of the newer users are younger and less experienced, so they're not too sure what to do when there's somebody who completely disagrees with them. It may look like spamming when they post 'BUT THAT POKEMONS BAD CUS I DONT LIKE IT', but it's really just them not having as good social skills as they could
