Topic: What's annoying you and bugging you at the moment then?

I save up money to go to the cinema. My sister asks to borrow some of it and pay me back Saturday. I was going to see the film on Friday so I said no. I double check to see if I have enough, later that day, and find a fiver missing. I still have enough money to see the film, but not enough to get the bus into town.

I want to have a lucid dream.

Every time I got close, I woke up.

The thin line between dream-consciousness and reality-consciousness has been thinned. But I just can't break through.

Take, for example, a dream I had recently this summer. I was panicking because I had teleported in my dream and I had no idea why, so I called my mom. And I asked her: why? Why did I do that? And I promptly woke up.

A second one. I was on a time-traveling bus. I tried to call people on my phone. I did not look at the time. I did not get anyone to pick up. Instead, I panicked for a second before waking up again.

A third, but farther back in last school year. A dream about Furbys in the wrong place: I realize this is so, and then wake up.

I have never heard myself say that I have entered a dream.

Tonight, I have managed to ball my frustration into this post. I wish so dearly to harness my dream powers and do what I have always wished to do.

Time travel.

I have looked at my watch constantly; my cell phone, less so. I expect dream me to follow my lead, but it appears that she is busy doing other things. Like being tricked by Bill Cosby and shunned by Vriska, and having no good results yet for any signs of checking or lucidity. If dream me were sentient perhaps I would tell her off for not listening to my hints.

I am really mad for some reason right now. It may be that my little brother asks, "What do older people have against younger people?" And this conundrum frustrates me. I may be an exception to this rule, but I ponder on why age matters so much. What difference, really, does it make? Deep inside, one knows that some people are much smarter than they are aged. Or, perhaps, dumber. I have found a friend who would normally be classed as annoying and naive by peers of my age. But he is a special friend who shares the same kind of thoughts and the same joy that leaps at our hearts at the sight of a field. We are the best of friends. And we are siblings, separated by about 6 years. Is his mind older and smarter mentally? I think so, based on the statements he made recently. What DO older people have on younger people, that they must make fun of them and correct their thoughts and TEASE THEM WITH SARCASTIC, PASSIVE-AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR THAT KNOWS NO BOUNDARIES!?

Is age too heavily used as a tool of separation in schools? Is that one of the catalysts? Does it REALLY matter how old or how young your best friends are?

And to think, one of the people that started off the last rant I had...asked the same thing about age boundaries.

Maybe some are doing it unconsciously. The maltreatment of certain peers for no reason, unconsciously. The leaving-out of peers for being naive, unconsciously. And the unconscious idea of using words that hurt, no matter how friendly they seem on the outside. And I am guilty of this. But now I know far, far better.

Understanding is something incredibly important.

Our £70 bill has been bumped up to a £100 bill rather than being dropped to a £30 bill. The £70 bill now comes with a letter threatening action if it isn't paid. I just loooooooove life. And of course, I'm the one who has to deal with it. Urgh. If this is what my year involves then I want out, I really do. @.@

I feel like i only had 3 hours sleep last night. I was falling asleep during biology and kept zoning out during band tonight too. I'm guessing this is down to the fact i had two migraines at the weekend :|
also my gran is doing her usual 'why do you bother faffing about with all this glasgow stuff, it happens all the time/how will yous afford it/waste of money'

I'm ill. For the first time in...well...a long time, I'm freaking ill. My throat is unbelieveably sore, and I keep having coughing fits. Off to the doctors tomorrow to find out if it's an infection of some description, since I have white spots on the back of my tongue <.<
