Well I'm currently blown away by my workload. My HIS lecturer sent out an announcement less than 2 hours ago saying that we need to read a 20 page article for our seminar on Thursday. Except I have to write a blog about it before midnight tomorrow as ~punishment~ for not turning up last week. On top of this assignment I'm handing in tomorrow, I'm not sure I'll find the time to actually read it all and understand it. He's given me 36 hours to have an understanding of this and it's really pissing me off. I so wish I could only do pure Philosophy, at least the work load is reasonable and I know that I'm actually learning something reading articles. :\
Oh and don't get me started on this assignment. Apparently, evaluating an argument and presenting an opinion on it deserve to be in two sections even though they're both technically an evaluation of the article. :|

Is it me or is Russia starting to go full circle? From the Tsarist regime they had Lenin who was different then had Stalin who was similar in many ways, and now they're starting to censor writing, just like the Tsars and Stalin did.

It seems that people enjoying touring in odd places in December. Bess is touring now through until December and it seems that the Midlands get no joy out of this tour. Unless you can drive of course. Cara's going to Birmingham which is actually reasonable but it's on a Wednesday, and I have 10-5 on Thursdays soooo I can't go. And Lelia seems to be avoiding the Midlands too, and although I can easily get to Oxford and Cambridge, they're scheduled on weird days. Sooooooo I'm still stuck in my "I need to see more bands!" slump. ;____;

On a website that I made, there are people (or just one person) who is just plain spamming. Going off topic and, I can't ban them because they never registered. I just keep deleting the messages but, they keep popping up again. Not one of the messages has the same poster. What is going on there!

I just found out that I have to wait another two weeks to get the next three deathnote books, eventhough all four where in stock when I ordered them, and I have been told I have the patience of a three year old on Christmas morning.

OH... ROYAL MAIL 
 
A parcel was delivered on the Tuesday, and arrived ten minutes after I'd left for my lecture. Made more annoying by the fact that I had only one lecture that day. Came back to find a note saying it was too big to be delivered, and if I could walk down [well, up, it's near the top of a ridiculously steep hill] in 48 hours' time, that'd be grand. 
Alas, Thursday and Friday are two of my busiest days, and the delivery office apparently closes at midday then, which is helpful. Unless by "12pm" they mean "midnight", which is unlikely, and I'm not walking all the way up there to find it closed. Plus, you'd think they'd have someone to double-check it. 
So, tomorrow I go there then. 
 
Which wouldn't be so bad if the last time this happened, it hadn't been for a book, which I found, when I got back, did actually fit through the letterbox. Great. Nice one. Though at least they let me pick that up the same day. 
 
Saturday it is, then. I have until 2pm, so no ridiculous lie-ins for me, which I'm sure is a Very Good Thing.

Well, it's great we have people to blow the leaves and plow the snow but, to much noice with the leaf blowers! I can barely hear the TV and I'm a few feet away from it.
