today in labs I couldn't tell if a beaker of something was the organic or aqueous separation so I took a pretty serious sniff of it and it turned out to be acetic acid 
the inside of my nose still burns

THERE IS THAT though in low concentrations it just reminds me of the reptile centre 
or hair dye, since i became one of those kinds of people 
some joker left the lid off one of the bottles a couple of weeks back and everyone was checking all their glassware for leaks 
even though nobody was even using ammonium things 
good times 
 
there's usually some inexplicable smell somewhere 
so long as it's not coming from me it's not too disastrous

Whelp, my Graphics card's gone. Hopefully we can afford a new one this week. Until then, I'll play Jedi Knight or Half Life!

Also, I bet a fiver my sound card goes at Easter.

Edit: Spent all afternoon playing portal. About 4 radios off the achievement, and 2 cameras off the other achievement. It was a good way to spend a lazy Saturday afternoon though.

Haven't asked a girl out for about two years. Back then, I always felt ill when I tried to send a text or message or whatever about it. I decided today I would ask her out. I typed in my text, it's a bit crap but I don't know what else I could say, and then my thumb hovered over the 'send' button... suddenly, headaches, my chest feels like it's on fire, and I can't breathe. Saved to drafts and now I don't know what to do.
Current bet is on drinking cider until I feel like I can send it.

Oh look that cafe job has appeared again and I've sent them my CV again, they should know my details pretty well by now. A bit sick of the whole "over qualified" thing too.
