Errrrrrrrrrrrr yeah I kinda went for a shower and completely forgot I was meant to let my housemate in. So she was left on the doorstep, and then had to go to a friend's house to wait for me to realise that I goofed. Worst housemate of the year award goes to me. So annoyed with myself right now.

She just got back, she's not upset at all (that might be a lie but oh well), in future I will make sure my phone is nearer to me at all times. >.<;

I left a half sentence at the start of my essay draft and I have no idea what that point would have been. Wonderful. :|

Oh lawd this has just been the worst weekend ever.

My laptop is dead again, my ex is still stalking me (ty for the drunk text in the middle of the night about how you'll NEVER EVER GET OVER ME SOB) and my idiot housemate and her car crash family are making me ill with all their drama. Like how it's suddenly my fault that there's a leak in the bathroom that's been there for TWO YEARS. On the plus side my mum has agreed to let me move back home which I guess at the age of almost 28 is a total step backwards but I need out.

 Almost finished my UCAS application but there's that deadline for the 24th and I can realistically finish it tomorrow but I need to send it off and for feth sake the college takes ages.

 The way I see it, if I send it off tomorrow and it all goes well then I'm meant to go on this course and if not, well, it's not for me.

 I'm tired right now and I'm unable to finish the rest of the UCAS, I have the money for it though.

 Finished my statement just now and I'm going to have to get it checked or something which I'm okay with, just have to do my qualifications really and I'm done.

 All this rain and all my favourite shoes have holes in their soles, my feet get soaked and today they went numb by the time I got home.

 Fell asleep watching this thing about bugs, it's really good too, only now got around to watching it again.

 Might not get into uni this year, I'm not that dissapointed though? If I can do this 1 year course in college I might even enjoy it and I can apply for the second year. I just have to find out when I enroll. I'll finish my ucas thing though. It's just bugging me...  Atleast I'll be able to spend Bluebells first year with us whilst I'm at home I suppose.

If you're dead set on applying for an art course of some description then do a portfolio course or a hnc/d (idk what the english equivalent is) for a year because unless your stuff is amazing then you won't get in without some sort of grounding. There's 0 point in wasting the ucas fee if you don't feel ready. I did an nc this year and the amount of stuff i produced and learned is crazy! There's not much point either in doing an unrelated course for a year and then applying next year.
I'm not saying you /need/ to do a basic art course but it helps a lot. If you are doing by yourself then have a ton of variety and draw from life as much as possible. Get some sketchbooks and fill them up. Good luck!
