Yesterday my laptop crashed while I was partway through my Logic assignment and I thought I'd lost it all. Just reloaded WP and it went into recovery mode and brought back my assignment<3

so the kid i like went and in library today, instead of sitting across from me he sat next to me. and we talked the whoooole library period. oh and me and my friend eva drew his gypsy caravan and his spirit animal the seahorse all over his math folder. and then me and him were getting pretty flirty by the end of the period so etshfdsdfghg YES.

The weather: it's blowing a gale out there. 
Walking back after maths today [whose idea it was to have thermodynamics right before double maths I've no idea] the street was full of people trudging up the hill and leaning forty-five degrees into the wind; legs were moving as if through treacle and nobody was going anywhere. 
So I was barely ambling along with the rest of them and laughing like a maniac because the wind was attempting to steal my scarf on top of that. Laughing and fighting with this-- probably impractically long-- piece of neckwear and quite sternly telling nobody at all, "you can't have it, it's mine" while the motorists presumably gazed out at the slow-motion pedestrians in bewilderment.   
 
Now I am back, I have my national insurance number and I have a bowl of "healthy chicken and vegetable soup" [I think that, here, "healthy" acts as a rather liberal synonym for "watery"- explains the calorific value at least]. 
Oh, and I found out that this maths work isn't due in until a week later than I thought. Marvellous. 
 
So I shall place a telephone call to the student loans company and be interested to see whether I am still in such a cheery mood by the end of it.

At least the wind trying to steal your scarf is (arguably) better than it trying to steal both of us. Because we just have a habit of walking into the wind. As you usually do.

... despite the lack of human contact today, I'd say the day is going pretty well. :D   I could barely function in my seminar this morning, which is odd for me, but a talk of alcohol and crime was amusing enough to make up for my lack of mental ability. Hearing someone say "Hey, I don't need to go the bar, there's Tits McGhee!" really made the morning worthwhile. OK, so my lecture wasn't too great and I skipped the following seminar, but hey, I'm allowed to. :D

Considering how upset/homesick I was last night, today's turned out to be 100x better than I expected. Alex is taking me to the SU tonight for a drink/several drinks and hopefully I'll be taking the train home tomorrow afternoon to spend the weekend with my family. :D
