had to appear in court to be a witness to a car crash dangerous driving trial thing until about 3pm today when they said there was no need cos the case had been settled

it was a little annoying as i had managed to work through all the worry to actually go and do this and be strong about it

SODS LAW oh well best channel this osu tatakae ouendan firey ambition into something else i guess but still it was becoming more of a nuisance at this point than anything scary so i'm glad there's no need for me to be there

I've been given my second birthday cake. :D  We were pretty scattered last week and I left pretty early on the day everyone was here, so I've only just been given it. Oh well, I love my little caterpillar cake<3

Er. I left maths after only an hour because.. tutorial.. I would have just sat there as usual and looked at questions and been confused without actually getting anything done. 
 
Also, the lecturer announced that he would be taking part in a strike next Thursday, so if the afternoon lectures that start next week are also called off then I can go back after just an hour of thermochemistry, wooo. 
Not that I'm confident about maths, so missing two hours of it would be... hmm. And there's a midterm exam on tuesday morning before the day o' labs. Haaaarg. 
But still, free time. 
 
Happy? That sounds happy to me. I shall have a tin of something for lunch. Exciting. 
 
I am in a curious frame of mind anyway, as I woke up at half two in the morning, to the sound of people returning home from parties, thinking that it was time to get up.

oh god. me and me mum yesterday. first we saw some sadish news on the BBC (about a man being SAVAGED >:U by a pair of pit bulls) then we were all going "SAVAGE >:U" and tickling each other

then we started throwing a tangerine at each other and it sploded

fun times.

Finished my moderated coursework earlier; got each section done so at least it's over and done with. I have no idea how well I've done on it though.

I'm also back in the mood for writing; so yay for updates on The Lost One (y)

We wrapped up recording this past January, and will be releasing this record to you on May 10 via Frenchkiss Records.

oh and posting again because i have more things


1. my hamster got out. the dog helped us find him though, and now he's in his cage and safe again. really he was only behind the wardrobe, but still it was scary.

2. while we were looking for kirk, my dog managed to injure himself. usually he yelps a lot when we put him out of a room [in this case to look for the hamster. not that sam would intentionally hurt kirk, but if kirk were to freak out and bite at his nose it'd possibly turn nasty], and this time... he yelped much much louder than usual for about a minute, we thought he was just putting on a big show, but then we went looking for him and couldn't find him. we assumed he'd got out and would be back soon. then mum shouted upstairs about 10 minutes later 'something's wrong with sam'. i ran down to check on him and he was basically paralysed from the hips down. after some huge panic, we took him to the vet.

and now for the best part: we found out he is okay, and most likely will be in about a week. according to the vet, he has a blood clot in his spine, which has messed him up. given the location of the clot, he's not in as much stress as some dogs who get completely paralysed.

they did say that should he be in the same state in about a week... well you get the idea.

but still, he's managing to sort of drag his ass around and take steps on his left leg, his right leg just drags along, but his left is healthy enough to at least move around.

god damn i'm just glad this panic is over <3

i know what this whole thing is like the whole NRRGJHFDGF oh ok kinda thing

our first childhood dog ended up getting a non-malignant tumor in it's front paw

we had to end up having her front leg amputated but she seemed alright with it and when we moved to spain she was all like "totally don't care i have three legs totally chasing cats hahahahahaha" and she was all just like totally watching a cat and then WOOFWOOFWOOF and hobbling at an incredibly alarming speed for three legs

and we don't know whether she was determined or just stupid but she just ~got on with it~ which was the best thing and kind of inspiring in a way i guess

she went kinda downhill many years later for other reasons and yeah dhkjdfjh but less said about this part the better cos this isn't the place for it

nonetheless i know its a good turnout but still /enthalpy hugs

i mean empathy hugs

this is why i'm not very good at thermodynamics sighhh
