Major? I thought i only did that in Uni. Well I've taken sociology, psychology, English language and English literature a-levels and dropping sociology for next year.

Colleges are different in different countries; University for us is what Laynii means =P

I'm starting to understand Mechanics again; the past papers are going well and bar a few mistakes, I think I can get a good grade from it. Things aren't looking as awfully as they once were =o

I can now write from memory the mechanisms for carbonyl hydration with acid catalysis, carbonyl hydration with base catalysis, hemiacetal and acetal formation [from carbonyl and alcohol] with acid catalysis, ketone formation from thioacetals, imine formation from ketones with primary amines and enamine formation from ketones with secondary amines. 
And all of those are reversable, so backwards as well. 
Damn I hope that's all of them. 
 
Just have to remember the conditions for the other reactions [i know the basic nucleophilic attack mechanism so that's all fine]. 
And then I can move onto the second half of the organic course 
If I do well on that surely it doesn't matter if I do terribly with thermodynamics..? 
 
Also my doctor who tshirt arrived

but I didn't have one and now I do hurraaaay

Two exams then half term, then I get my maths resits, missed a C by 3 marks so a week of no school will be atleast a few days revising maths.
