I was totally trousered last night, first time in ages. And I'm off work for 2 days. Yes!

I just cooked chicken for the first time... and I think it came out ok   I probably should have cooked it longer, but oh well<3  kinda cheated by having a packet of egg fried rice with it, but I can always have a stir fry in future   going to attempt cooking it in the microwave tomorrow... not sure what I can have with it though. :|

It actually went pretty well in the microwave... I only tried it because a friend of mine did it and she said it turned out nicely so I thought I should try it. And it's only chicken breast, I wouldn't dare try using a whole chicken because I know I'd waste all of it. ^^'

i never trust the microwave for chicken except defrosting it

most of the time i use chicken breast in stuff? no-one else seems to like just chicken thighs/drumsticks etc so i just roast them up and have them with gravy and maybe a bit of rice if i'm being lazy but i always use chicken breast as a meat in something i.e. stir fries and curries etc.


srsly get one of the specially selected (the ones with the little compartment with curry spice powder in the top) curry sauces from aldi oh my god
that + chicken breast + a diced onion
and some rice and a naan bread
fdsfhdsfkjdsh i usually am really skeptical about jar'd curry but aldis seem to have it down really well

o.o With my family, my mother and I usually give my father the chicken breast if we're eating together (dad works in a seperate country). It's the chicken drumsticks and thighs that seem to get all the attention xD We hate chicken breast; it's too dry for us Cx


Going to go on a two hour drive with my mother to check out a second hand lever harp. The lever one we're renting right now is of a terrible quality, complete with two missing strings :c
