Ohio is fighting Obamacare. Finally, someone's speaking up against the president.

you do understand how many americans cannot afford healthcare because of the hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of fees, right? how many americans, who pay their bills and taxes, are plunged into hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of debt, maybe even millions, because they couldn't afford full cover health insurance? how many of them have to choose between food or paying the bills because of your greedy """healthcare""" system? this is why i'm damn thankful for the nhs; everyone pays so EVERYONE can get free healthcare, and no one is left sitting suffering because they can't afford it.

I don't understand why a lot of American's don't like Obamacare? I thought he was making health insurance cheaper for the vast majority of people which is a good thing? I know I say this as someone who has the nhs but the fact you see people in a 1st world country refusing to go to a doctor/hospital because they can't afford it is crazy. So surely Obamacare is a good thing if everyone will be getting insurance. Obviously the nhs isn't perfect either but I'd much rather fall ill here than the us.

Scotland have legalised gay marriage! Don't see why in the 21st century people are opposed to it, all it is is love between two people of the same sex. Their marriage isn't going to affect them personally. I'm not gay but I have a lot of friends who are so it's great news c:

It means higher taxes and stuff like that I think. I'm not sure because I don't really understand what all that's about. All I know is, people hate taxes, Obamacare seems bad, and that general stuff. Hey, people may think i'm smart but I have no idea what the hell they're talking about on the news with this mess. They don't cover that in 8th grade (8th year).

Yeah, its going to clear out a bunch of our moneys because of the fact that when people without insurance can't pay for the doctors, they take their kids to the ER. The kids might have been coughing for a long time, and whether its something or nothing, the family gets slapped with a huge fee. Since they couldn't afford insurance, they also probably can't afford the hospital bills, which if you think about it is actually pretty bad.

Raising taxes is gonna suck, sure, but we need some form of health care, and the ACA isn't all too invasive. Plus, it lets the kiddos stay on their parents insurance plan until they're like 27. Yipee!
