Character Guides / Melissa Coy
« on: February 28, 2012, 22:46 »
Character name: Melissa (Mel) Coy

Age: 15

Gender: Female

Description: Melissa is five feet, six inches tall. Her hair is wavy and black, grown out to about her shoulder blades. Her eyes are a bright stunning blue, and her facial features are very petite. Her cheekbones are high, and she has an angular chin, giving her a rather sharp look. She's not robustly built, and is rather skinny, as she has a hard time keeping weight on. She dresses in a loose white top with a pokeball design covering the frontside. Mel wears tight gray jeans underneath the big top, contrasting sizes nicely. Her impractical open toe white flats and silver bangles are the icing on her outfit.

Personality: Mel likes to appear as a tomboy in front of the boys, and actually aspires to be more like one, but deep down, she knows she can be a priss. She'll try to walk around mud instead of jumping over it, or going through it. Melissa is the type of girl who gets self conscious without her makeup, and doesn't like getting herself too dirty, both physically and in personal relationships. She tries to be as nice and politically correct as possible, and has been known to be charitable with her money, and lend people a hand. Melissa is actually very smart, but she doesn't like to show it all that much. She'll often try to flirt with people, but never goes through with anything. Melissa just likes to come across as cute, and may try too hard to impress.

History: Melissa was born in Unova, and has lived there all her life. She was born in Nacrene City as an only child to her parents, who were both business people. Mel likes to say she's from Castelia, however, as that's where she spends most of her time. She knows all of the streets there as if she owned them, or maybe even a little better. She has little exposure to places besides the cities surrounding Castelia, and that's one of the reasons why she wishes to take a Pokemon adventure. She's always had a pet Poochyena, and bought a Poliwag before she left for her journey.

Friends and enemies:

Pokémon:

Star
Female
Tackle
Howl
Sand-Attack
-----
Star is a lot like Mel: She doesn't like battling too much, but she just loves to please, so she does it for Melissa. Star is the type to give it her all, but she very quickly tires and may quit part way through a battle, much to Mel's distress. However, any conflict the two may have is quickly resolved, as the two have been friends since Mel was 10.

Jacob
Male
Water Sport
Bubble
-----
-----
Jacob is goofy, but loves battling once he's in it. He's the type to fake out another pokemon, and take a lot of risks. For him, it seems like battling is completely for fun. He enjoys making Mel angry at times, much to Star's displeasure.

<Liam> LOL
<Liam> I totes posted a post in that topic about that
<+Dave_> We all know what's "happying" Liam right now.
<+Supergrunt> yah, that's why i want to make it
<+Supergrunt> let me steal your idea

I see two sad topics that I have bothered to read in random randomness. What's depressing you right now. It can be good to get things off your chest, BUT it's still sad. And the topic about missing one ingredient to a recipe. So, we need some happiness on this forum.

What GOOD things have been happening to you lately?

I went to Six Flags two days ago, and won a pikachu plush at one of the overpriced but so stupidly fun games. I had a pretty good time, even though I was starting to get a slight cold. Plus I just read Catching Fire's first chapter, which makes me happy, as I can't wait for that book.

 What's not depressing you?
