Flabébé line! Not only is it as cute as a button DAMN can it battle!  It can soak up SA's like they are nothing and dishes out a tone of damage.

Furfrou has also won me over. I thought it was really gimmicky at first but I am really enjoying most of the cuts you can give it. It is also a fantastic battler with super high speed and attack.

9/10 for me as well. Aside from the camera angles and little bits of lag, my only complaint is how compelling this game is - I can hardly put it down! I adore pokemon Amie and find myself taking pokemon out of my boxes just so I can feed and pet them. The EV training is fantastic. The models and animation are both stunning and fluid. The game has completly supassed what i was hoping for = and I was hoping for a lot!

X for me and Y for my fella (I made the choice because of chromosomes)

We have managed to convince our GAME (Lower Merryhill store in Stourbridge) to open at 8 instead of 9 so there will be about 12 of us from our local 'Pokemon Center' heading down and picking up our games at about 7:30 (all very excited and likely playing the original pokemon opening song).
We are then going to be playing within the shopping center for pretty much as long as our batteries hold, trading and battling each other while also handing out our new website details to other people who are buying the game, so we can get even more people involved in our pokemon group. It is going to be a really great day with the new games spent with old friends and new friends. I think I might even take my video camera.

Some people are really really cool. A work colleague of my fiancé has just had a baby girl and instead of settling for a boring name he has called her Eevee!! Best dad ever.
As a gift for the new family I whipped out my tablet and draw up a little birthday present:

Welcome to the world Eevee.

I would love there to be more of an in depth breeding mechanic and that the X and Y are related to the chromosomes but I am not sure how they could do it really.

The other option I see is X and Y not just relating to a graph but also coordinates. Remember in the trailer we saw Pikachu on the Eiffel tower - a real world place - well what if you could track down rare or special moved Pokemon in special real world places? All that lightning looks cool but maybe it is him (the special french pikachu) being shared around the world?
Nintendo love encouraging people to trade and with this mechanic they would certainly do that. Plus they could advertise that they are encouraging kids to explore the real world around them.

Just a thought.

I never use legandary Pokemon. I catch them and like others I then stuff them in a box. However to say that if someone uses them means they altomaticaly win is completly wrong.

I have battles my parter and plenty of other people who use legandarys and they give me no more trouble then any other decent pokemon. Heck I have more problem beating my guy's Breloom or Vaporeon then i very do with his legandarys.

Gravity dosen't increase a moves accuracy but it dose lower the evasion of all pokemon on the feild by 2 levels. A 70% hit chance will still be 70% hit chance but any pokemon who have raised their evasion by one or two levels will be put back down to normal untill gravity wares off. Evasion and accuracy are two diffrent hidden values each working in tandum to work out whether an attack hits or not

For HP I would actually recamend Hoothoots, sure you have to wait till it is night but running around the grass by the early towns in the dark will give you almost nothing but the Hoots. They give 1 HP ev each and as they are such low levels it is not long before any baby's you are EV training can handle them themselves thus saving the switch outs.

Ok here is a question I can't seem to find the answer to.

If Thunder is used in rainy weather it has 100% accuracy BUT if the pokemon it is attacking is holding Bright powder dose that still knock it down to 90% hit chance or will it just always hit like Swift. I am guessing it will be the 90% but I would like to make sure.
