She's one heck of a job snob and just gives me flak for being unemployed. It's annoying because I don't talk about people who didn't continue their education and I don't insult them and call them plebs or whatever but she's got this assumption that everyone who's unemployed is a scummy dole-rat who has no intention of working.

See, I get called a snob just because I went to university. I've got no problem with people who didn't go to uni, because the world needs sparkies, chippies and so on and if they're working hard to pay the bills then fair play to them.

But because I worked hard in school, got the grades and took an opportunity to leave the town of no opportunity I grew up in and made a life for myself on the other side that makes me a snob or posh? But it's usually the pregnant-at-nineteen/dole dosser/I-didn't-bother-at-school lot that do such a thing.

Father in law, but it's not like I went through life going "it's okay, I'll just work for him". It was a last resort.

im just gonna let this "yes i benefited from the luck of organisational nepotism" speak for itself, ok.

also try to remember tax avoidance by the rich is 7.3 times more expensive than benefit fraud.

tl;dr, DWP overpaid benefits to some in 2013/14 by £4.6 billion but underpaid others by £1.6 billion. HMRC on the other hand (who let vodafone write off £57 million) said that they were missing around £34 billion and no-one is really making Efforts to chase it up at all cos Rich People and Customer Privacy etc.

some of those tax avoiders own and run newspapers like the Daily Express, the Sun, Daily Mail, etc. so you can understand why "benefit fraud!!!1!1!!" MAY be a bit of a crafty smokescreen. i mean if you want to continue bout it then thats fine and i'll just try to ignore it in future but just be aware of how you might be being played a little

Apologies for bringing up my job-snob friend.

Might have actually got ditched at the end of an outing today and it's like... I was really looking forward to hanging with her and we end up going our separate ways without warning and it kinda dampened the outing because it felt like I was just dumped as an afterthought lmao.

It really didn't help that these trial contact lenses aren't silky smooth so it's difficult to forget they're there and then they started dying on me so my eyes were irritated and I was rubbing my eyes to try and moisten them up but it just made me look upset.

Gotta do this tomorrow again with someone else. Not wearing contacts. It's not worth the discomfort and people thinking that I'm crying when they start irritating me. It's almost as bad as pinching your actual eye whilst trying to take them out.

Edit: I've accidentally gotten myself a date

Shaved my head with a clipper and I used a razor to do some trimming and I think I've accidentally cut into my already failing hairline so I might have to go full-on skinhead depending on how it looks tomorrow. I even used that precision razor that's intended for the fiddly bits.

I'm just lucky that having head-stubble suits me so a skinhead will too.

Shoulders are killing me because of wearing two sports bras to flatten my chest as much as I could for my cosplay. On the bright side, I finally convinced my aunt to let me get a binder. She thinks it's just for cosplay though so I won't be able to use it whenever I need... still, having it for when I can wear it is better then nothing.
When it comes down to it, the difference between healing and necromancy is timing.
