Sparks

This Pokemon's Speed increases when it is hit by a Steel type attack.

^Only certain steel types would have this (Steel hits steel = sparks?) and so it wouldn't be all that broken.

Photosensitive

This Pokemon receives damage when Sunny Day is in effect, but the accuracy of its moves are increased by 50%.

Chameleon

This Pokemon gains STAB on moves that share the same type as the attack it was last hit by - e.g. if Keckleon is hit by a Fire type attack, its Fire type attacks will do much damage.

Character Name

Wayne Fairbrass

Age and Gender

17, male

Description

Wayne is most commonly seen wearing his red jumpsuit of his own design. If he's not wearing it, he wears a simple t-shirt and jeans, but prefers to wear his "show-outfit," as he has dubbed it. This is the outfit he wears when he performs.

He is always seen with his violin. Though he can tease any melody out of the instrument, he says that the sounds aren't quite right, and seeks the materials to craft the perfect violin. He rarely has a pre-formed opinion on anything, and will make up his mind at the moment when he is prompted to. As such, he is often perceived to be a deep thinker - the truth of the matter, however, is that he simply hasn't prepared an argument.

Personality

Wayne is a pacifist, but enjoys the sport of battling Pokemon, when not performing as part of an ensemble. Music is his passion, and his attention often drifts away from conversation and will begin playing a tune on his violin.

History

Born in Eterna City, raised to be a musician like his older sisters, who have all joined their own ensembles. When he decided he wanted to travel, to see the world, and to craft his own violin, his parents gave him a Pokemon to protect him; a Kricketot. Now, Wayne is on his way to Hoenn, docking at Slateport.

Friends and Enemies

None so far!

Pokemon

Hm, I can come, and I'm seventeen and a half, so I'm near to the age that you need. I've asked my Mum if I can come and she says its fine, but on the condition that my three sisters take me (who are 23, 30, and 30 something (I forget)) there to make sure I'm not getting picked up by a load of "odd persons," as she calls them. So, I'll pretty much get there, then they'll go shopping or something, and come back later.

If you need any other information, PM me or attack me on the chats. :P Thanks for organising this Joeno!

Bit of Series 4 info. I said that the new companion would be revealed soon. And apparently:

"Catherine Tate will return as Donna Noble for the entire 13-week run."

Thoughts ?

* The Librarian is not happy

You're not happy!? Think how the Doctor wil feel, having to put up with her all the way round the Universe! I think my Doctor relationship just ended...bring back Adam, I say. He was amusing. (I doubt if anyone remembers Adam...he was the one in the first episode with the Daleks in Season 1 of the new batch...)

Catherine Tate is an awful actresss. And yeah, the Christmas Special is going to suck, as it always does...

*sigh*

Roll on Torchwood, though Martha's in that now as well...God, you just can't escape her...

No one metioned the:
"What? What?! What!" the same in doomsday and last of the time lords.

Quote from: Dragonpika
And I loved the return of the "WHAT?" at the end of the series... Mister Davies does like ending serieses that way =P

Erm...*cough.*

QUESTION!

Why do Timelords burn their dead Timelord buddies, which pretty much copying what the Jedis do in Star Wars? 0.o

Because, (and I hate to say this) they do nick a hell of a lot.

HEart of Time = Stargate
Mini 900 year old Doctor = Golem/Dobby
Burning the Jedi way = Star Wars
City in a bubble = Just about every crap scifi thing.

I think, as I predicted, it redeemed itself from last week. The Face of Boe (or perhaps it should be "beau" now?) was an excellent mini twist that carried loads of weight.

Personally, I'm glad Martha's gone. She was always second best to Rose, you cannot beat the Piper girl. *hugs*

Quote
Does anybody think The Doctor was becoming a little Jesus-like, when he said 'I forgive you' to the Master?

Too damn true. Consider: Martha goes around the world, telling "the story" about some iconic figure, who has sacrificed himself for the good of everyone. Then, when they all put their faith into him, and believe in him, he is resurrected with arms open wide. THen he forgives the sinner.

ZOMG TEH DOCTOR IS JEEZUS!!!

Anyway, that bit was excessively cheesy.

I think John Simm was way too good a Master for them to just drop him. If they really did kill off the Master, then they may have safeguarded themselvesto protect them from status effects by not putting the whole hand picking up some random ring.

I did think it was sad when the Master refused to generate (and yeah, I reckon Pinsir is dead right that there is/was something going on with those two) - "But we've done so much together!!" 0.o

The Christmas special last year was abysmal, in my opinion. I cannot stand Catherine Tate, I think she embodies everything that I dislike in this country and so there is little faith in me that the next Christmas Special will be any different. However, the fact that the Titanic actually broke through the TARDIS is a little bit...worrying. I thought it was invincible. >>

Roll on Torchwood and Captain Jack! *waves a flag.*

I am a big fan of doctor who it is getting very exciting at the moment i cant stop watching it lol i cant wait until the cartoon version comes out on bbc two that will be wicked to watch does any one know if this is the last episode of doctor who this Saturday or is it going to becoming back later on in the year? please let me know Doctor Who fans thanks xx

The cartoon version looks awful, and I doubt it will be taken as real canonicity within the programme, or at least, that's what I'm hoping...:P

As for the odd time lord's dress, I wasn't around when they were on television (or if I was, I was exceedingly young) and take back that part (same with the Gallifrey comment) but I'm still...annoyed with it. :P

Oh, and there's this whole thing at my school saying that the Toclaphane are the Daleks or something. I think not. Why would the Master be in an alliance with the Daleks? o.o

Anyway, roll on Saturday...

BBC haven't put end of series teasers like in series 1 and 2

They haven't? How do you know?

And I was actually a little dissapointed with the Master episode.

Don't get me wrong, John Simm is a truly excellent Master; on par with David Tennant in regards to his acting abilities. However, there was a sense of unoriginality about the whole thing. Like they took a load of already existing ideas both from Dr. Who and from other places, and shoved them into an episode.

For example: The "heart of time" idea is pretty cool, sending the Master mad and all that, but the thing is that the heart of time itself just looked like a smaller Stargate thing.

The people surrounding the stargate rip off looked like those awful costumes you see in the first generation of star trek, and it looked more satirical rather than impressive.

The shot of Gallifray was...disheartening. I mean, I always had this idea that the Time Lords didn't actually have a physical being and that they merely took on the form of whatever random species their regeneration chose for them. Having seen this stereo-typical sci fi city-in-a-bubble, I was pretty pissed off. I mean, come on, you've just ruined a load of hardcore fan's idea of what the Time Lord Planet looked like. That's basic in film making. Don't show more than you can actually afford to show.

Oh, and the whole drum thing was pretty cool. I loved that, but there is a little bit of an echo with the Cybermen, no? What with the earpieces just being replaced by a drumminess. Still, it is catchy. :P

And, like the Doctor turning into a human arc, I hope the second episode redeems the first. The one liners, though, were still as excellent as ever.

Indeed, that episode was excellent. However, ChanTho really did get on my nerves...

And the Master had his own TARDIS in the old series; couldn't the Doctor and co. find that one and take it back to present day?

And yes, this Jack is much more fun than the Torchwood Jack; but then again, that's how it's meant to be: This is where Jack wants to be, hence his happiness. He was moody in Torchwood because that's why fangirls love him so he wasn't with the Doctor.

True...though I hate not knowing things. It winds me up so much...

And if it isn't the Master, I'll...kill myself or something equally as drastic. :P

ARGH! I've just realised! I won't be able to watch it! I'm having a film night at my friend's tonight! ; . ;

Excessively. I am in desperate need to find out both the whole hype over Mr. Saxon and, more importantly, whether or not the Master will be featuring...

Agreed, that really was a fabulous episode.

However, about Mr. Saxon being the Master: Mr. Saxon is being played by John Simms, the dude from Life on Mars. However, the dude that looked most likely to be the master (imo) from the trailer was the old dude holding the watch or something.

I really do hope that the "other" that the Face of Boe mentioned is the Time Lord. That, or he was just making a remark about Caan's existence...>.>
