You sound kind of naïve if you actually think that he meant the guy's mom was a furry. There's a blatant innuendo there.
Hi,

I believe I asked you to PM me if there are issues. I also believe you ignored the entirety of my post if that is what you got out of it.

Please explain yourself, via PM. I am doing this for your good, not mine, because doing this in public will be very unproductive because people will openly participate and it won't be pretty really for either of us. I (and many, MANY others) genuinely have zero idea what that is innuendo for; I'm 99.999% sure he's literally calling his mother either a furry or ridiculously hairy. It's low hanging fruit, but there's absolutely nothing sexual about it. Anything sexual you take out of this one is pretty much on you; it's very unambiguous to everyone here.

And again, if you want to talk more about this, PM me or message me on Discord. That would be the easiest way to establish a dialogue. Calling me naive doesn't explain it to me in the slightest. Obviously, it's not obvious to others, so you have to *really* detail it.

If you throw an accusatory tone at me again instead of PMing me (or actually explaining yourself), I will warn you for spamming. As it stands, calling me naive is regressive towards your cause, because it shows me that your intention is to grandstand and not make a substantial point.

I understand your complaint, but the name rater has been snippy and willing to go beneath the belt since inception. In fact, the name rater is "punching someone in the crotch" personified, and that is something that he will not be able to change anytime soon. Especially since that is the reason the majority come here.

That is also not racist or sexist (at least in a discriminatory way.)  That is just low hanging fruit, and calling someone's mom a furry isn't...  Really that bad. I'm not sure if you've ever looked through the ratings through the history of the website, but there hasn't been that much better.

If there is racism in any way, you can check my internet history and you will see I am the first to jump on it. The name rater has actively had to report actually offensive nicknames with slurs and everything to administration.

It is a stylistic choice, and those kinds of jokes happen by design. There's nothing really blatantly sexual in the name raters ratings and if you can point to actual examples of racist, sexist, or sexual name rater ratings and PM them to me I am more than happy to look it over and discuss with him.

I have one question: how can I get a write in ballot to vote for you?
get ballot

write in "lets all go out for some frosty chocolate milkshakes"

then she becomes president

And yet, people refer to America or the USA as the United States of America, which is also a long name.
Yeah, it's referred to as "the US" more often than not

Well, I've been secretly in the process of making some hires. They could introduce themselves as early as tomorrow!

Please don't focus on drama.

Pages will not really be updated in the near future unless a user really wills it. As it stands, I don't know anyone who is willing or able enough to bring news. We pretty much need someone young and energetic that's willing to work with us (and more or less for us and for free, or I could shell out money but I'm not sure I make enough to do that) because I have very little ability to work behind the scenes with our website.

I also don't have the energy to do anything but post sometimes, but I am willing to work with people.

The other admins are older than I am so basically everything I go through but worse.

At this point, we need a niche because there are other websites people will use for information. There is absolutely no competing with that no matter how much we try. We need to seize upon quirkiness and more or less "alternative" content.

Some examples are well written fanon articles, cool conspiracies and articles about Pokemon, cool nitbits about the history of Pokemon, etc. Just fun little fan entered things would be pretty cool to put on the site. That's kind of what I've had planned but not really had some of the time or energy to fully execute. I've also generally only written about it a few times in passing.

Little known fact about Pokemon in-game: they're not difficult enough that you need to worry about team composition. Just make sure you have distinct types (both on offense and defense) and you're generally okay.

I really really love using Marth, and I'm glad because he's my favorite character that they included in the game (wasn't that fond of Fates). Game is fun as hell.

I've been co-streaming it with a few friends, but mainly story mode, and we'll be continuing this Saturday.

Blaze, you mention LGBT issues as having passed through the White House - which is true.
Passed through and ignored.

Gay marriage was legalized by the SCOTUS in Obergefell vs Hodges with a 5-4 majority. Meaning it took a lawsuit to do it, and the federal government cannot make it illegal short of a constitutional amendment which they will not have the supermajority to do. Currently there are pro-discrimination laws in the books because the federal government has been deferring this to a states rights issue (thanks, Congress).

Before that, gay marriage was deferred to states rights. My home state being one of the half dozen that legalized it before the SCOTUS legalized it nationwide.

The way i see it, the problem with our society is that the rich get richer, the poor get poorer, and nothings happening to change that. So we need to teach that this idea of success and richness isnt the most important thing, and that being a good and decent person is what really matters.

This is far too naive. People are taught this and preach it, but it's not congruent with how they act (or how they vote).

At any rate, I'm not sure what "social change" you're talking about. You can view religion as a movement, and movements do inspire social change. You could argue also that religion created social norms and anything against religion is social change, or you can also argue that going to church on Sunday puts you at the whim of a pastor who can bring up a sermon to invoke some degree of change. Like any movement, it can change people's views over time, for better or for worse.
