As this stuff gets integrated into Dex, I can say some things.

For FRLG, most sprites are the same as the RSE versions. The only ones that are different (and thus, the only ones we want) are that of the first 151 Pokemon (those available in RBY) and, for some strange reason, Teddiursa.

The images need to be all seperate, and by their national Pokedex number, all with the same extension. So 1.gif, 2.gif, (...), 84.gif, (...), 150.gif, 151.gif, whateverTeddiursa'snumberisagainsinceIcan'tremember.gif

A zip-file containing the seperate files would be the easiest for us to handle, as we can just unzip and upload those. After that it's a simple database query to set these up for me and we're done. Yay for phprequire and its functionality to create these files dynamically :) One of those smaller v9 I've written that save us hours of work.

Is tranceparency needed? I noticed on some of the srites in our resorce are tranceparent. BUt, I wouldn't perfer it because it messsess ome of the sprites up wehn are used >.>

Size is, obviously, the standard size, as also seen for RSE.

As for transparency, that's up to Typhlosion, so I can't say.

But if Dragonpika already has them, I think you doing it all over again would rather be a waste of time.

And the Unown, which were asked, again, this is Typhlosion's decision. That's also why it might have taken a while - I believe I've been the only admin who was asked about this, and at that time I directed him to Typhlosion.

I'll just mention some sprites that seem to be missing, though I'm not submitting anything.

RS: Castform alternative forms

DP: Castform alternative forms, Burmy alternative forms, Wormadam alternative forms, "East Sinnoh" Shellos and Gastrodon (blue)

A separate Unown Dex would be cool.

As you'll note, we are not showing ANY alternative forms at the moment. This is not missing in the sense that we have forgotten them or made an error, but we need to do more work here.

I'm still offering to do the back sprites/shinys/whatever you want, but if it is a yes, I would have to do it tonight, they may turn off this computer..and I don't want all thesesprites on here! D=

Back sprites for...Emerald/ruby/safire are easy, and sounds fun.

If it's a yes, I wouldn't mind! ^_^

Transparency is not really an issue. If it makes things harder, then no, it's not needed. But a white background is. To me it doesn't really matter.

ANYTHING you wish to submit would be useful. That's shiny sprites, back sprites, shiny back sprites, anything. And if done with the format Joeno has already suggested, would potentially save me hours of work :)

And yeah, that includes Castform and Unown sprites. Perhaps not the primary need, but yeah, might as well.

For me: it would be easiest if they were just emailled to admin@pkmn.net. Make sure you put PKMN.NET in the title though or something, or else I'll probably mistake it for spam.

my mom hates the idea, she said as long as I do it slowly, as in sending in two messages, one with the first bunch of sprites, and two, wth the secnond bunch. =P

Is that the size they appear in the games? If so, yes. If not, they're not the official sprites.

In terms of uploading the sprites and coding the page, we're only interested in being sent the actual files pre-named, otherwise it doesn't save me any time at all. You cannot send attachments with PMs, thus it would be more of a hinderance to me than help.

I believe the backsprites for RSE are all 64x64.

Will it make a difference if the space is cropped down to fit the sprite? I haven't left the extra space around them, so very few are still 65x65 squares. I can rectify it though, if it's necessary.

All of the DP Male sprites have been reuploaded, the Female Sprites added, and a couple of more specific pages added. The missing pages will be uploaded soon, and I fully expect the complete PKMN.NET Sprite Resource v1.0.0 to be released by the end of the week.

Especially with the shellos forms. Usually it's only possible to find that "half form" sprite of shellos that'ssomewhere in between the two... so ta~
